  • Publication number: 20170268340
Abstract: Scroll fluid machine (1) in which the dislodgement of a slide bush (56) and a spring (61), which are provided in an eccentric bush (36), is prevented. Provided in receiving hole (58) of eccentric bush (36) are slide bush (56), which is movable in the direction of eccentricity, and spring (61), which biases slide bush (56) in a moving direction. A spring holding section (56b) and engagement projections (56a) are formed on slide bush (56). After slide bush (56) is placed in the receiving hole (58), engagement projections (56a) engage with eccentric bush (36) in a state in which slide bush (56) has been moved by the biasing force of spring (61), thus preventing slide bush (56) from falling off the receiving hole (58), and the spring holding section (56b) prevents the spring (61) from falling off the receiving hole (58).

  • Publication number: 20150322947
Abstract: To provide a scroll-type fluid machine in which the influence on power recovery efficiency of a clearance in an expansion section is reduced. A scroll-type fluid machine (100) includes: a scroll unit (20) in which a fixed scroll (3) and an orbiting scroll (4) are disposed and an expansion section (1) and a compression section (2) are formed; and a support part (30) that supports the orbiting scroll (3) so as to be able to perform revolving motion, the compression section (2) being driven by power recovered in the expansion section (1). A minimum clearance between a wrap (3L) of the fixed scroll (3) and a wrap (4L) of the orbiting scroll (4) in the expansion section (1) is set to be less than a minimum clearance between the wrap (3L) of the fixed scroll (3) and the wrap (4L) of the orbiting scroll (4) in the compression section (2).

  • Patent number: 6616431
Abstract: A scroll-type compressor has a piston valve mechanism for controlling the feeding of lubricating oil to slidable parts of the compressor. The piston valve mechanism includes a cylinder bore that connects a medium pressure chamber and a low pressure chamber, and a piston valve and a spring accommodated with the cylinder bore. The spring resiliently biases the piston valve toward the medium pressure chamber. The piston valve is driven by a pressure difference between the medium pressure chamber and the low pressure chamber, and by the spring. In one embodiment, an inwardly stepped, narrowed portion formed in the cylinder bore engages the piston valve to prevent further compression of the spring.

  • Patent number: 5702241
Abstract: A scroll-type fluid displacement apparatus includes a first and a second scroll, each having an end plate and a spiral wrap extending from one side of the end plate. The spiral wraps interfit at an angular and radial offset to make a plurality of line contacts which define a pair of fluid pockets. A driving mechanism is operatively connected to the first scroll to orbit the first scroll relative to the second scroll while preventing rotation of the second scroll, to thereby change the volume of the pair of fluid pockets. Sealing elements are disposed in the axial ends of the spiral wraps for sealing a central portion of fluid pockets defined by the spiral wraps. Thus, the axial sealing of fluid pocket formed between the orbiting and fixed scroll is more secure in all process from the suction to the discharge stage. Further, the volumetric efficiency of the compressor increases.

  • Patent number: 5435706
Abstract: The present invention discloses a reliable rotation preventing/thrust bearing device for use in an orbiting member fluid displacement apparatus. The rotation preventing/thrust bearing device includes a discrete fixed portion, a discrete orbital portion, and bearing elements. The fixed portion includes a first annular race and a first ring, both of which are formed separately. The first annular race is placed in a loose fit surrounding a first annular step in an inner surface of the housing and the first ring is attached to the housing. The orbital portion includes a second annular race and a second ring, both of which are formed separately. The second annular race is placed in a loose fit surrounding a second annular step in an end plate of the orbiting member and the second ring is attached to the end plate of the orbiting member. A plurality of pockets of the rings face one another in generally aligned pairs.
