  • Patent number: 8514350
Abstract: There is provided is a display device capable of suppressing deterioration of the color conversion layer which converts one color light into another color light, and realizing favorable handling and a display device using the color conversion layer, and a color conversion sheet. A phosphor sheet 10 is, for example, arranged immediately above a light source such as a blue light emitting diode, and obtained by sealing a phosphor layer 11, which converts a part of blue light into another color light, by sealing sheets 12A and 12B. The sealing sheets 12A and 12B are bonded with the phosphor layer 11 in between by a first bonding layer 13 and a second bonding layer 14. Since the phosphor layer 11 is sealed by the sealing sheets 12A and 12B including a water vapor barrier layer 122 held between resin sheets 121A and 121B, water vapor is prevented from entering into the phosphor layer, and a chemical reaction is less likely to be generated between the phosphor layer 11 and the water vapor barrier layer 122.

  • Publication number: 20110259290
Abstract: An ammonia burning internal combustion engine can feed ammonia and a highly combustible substance burning easier than ammonia to a combustion chamber. When the amount of ammonia fed into the combustion chamber is increased or when the ratio of the amount of the ammonia to the total amount of the ammonia and the highly combustible substance fed into the combustion chamber is increased, the operating parameters of the internal combustion engine are controlled so the air-fuel mixture fed into the combustion chamber is made easier to burn. As a result, an ammonia burning internal combustion engine designed to suppress a drop in combustibility of auxiliary fuel due to ammonia, can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20110264355
Abstract: An internal combustion engine can use ammonia and a non-ammonia fuel which is easier to burn than ammonia as fuel. The non-ammonia fuel is directly injected into a combustion chamber by a non-ammonia fuel injector, and the injected non-ammonia fuel is ignited, whereby combustion of the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber is commenced. In the control system of the internal combustion engine, the injection timing of the non-ammonia fuel is advanced at a time when a ratio of ammonia in all fuel fed to the internal combustion engine is high in comparison with the time when the ratio is low. Therefore, a control system of an internal combustion engine capable of using ammonia and a non-ammonia fuel (gasoline, light oil, hydrogen, etc.) which is easier to burn than ammonia, which suitably feeds fuel and controls combustion in order to suitably burn an air-fuel mixture in a combustion chamber is provided.

  • Publication number: 20110141350
Abstract: An image processing apparatus, which converts a frame rate by dividing an input frame into sub-frames and outputting the sub-frames, includes a minimum value filter unit, a low-pass filter processing unit, a generation unit, and a switching unit. In an input frame, the minimum value filter unit selects a maximum value of minimum values from the minimum values of pixel values in each horizontal line in a predetermined area including peripheral pixels of a processing target pixel, and performs pre-processing to replace the processing target pixel with the maximum value. The low-pass filter processing unit performs low-pass filter processing on the pre-processed input frame and generates a first sub-frame. The generation unit generates a second sub-frame from the first sub-frame and the input frame. The switching unit switches the first sub-frame and the second sub-frame at predetermined timing and outputs a sub-frame.
