  • Publication number: 20160087879
Abstract: A communication system constituted by a plurality of nodes connected to each other via a network includes: a first node that receives a publish message for requesting for transmission of an object, from a publisher terminal; and a second node. Each of the nodes from the first node to the second node: has a storage unit in which first routing information is recorded; performs a first routing; and records, in the storage unit, an object ID of the publish message and second routing information. The communication system also includes a third node that receives a subscribe message for requesting for receipt of the object, from a subscriber terminal. Each of the nodes from the third node to the first node: performs a second routing; and records, in the storage unit, an object ID of the subscribe message, and third routing information.

  • Publication number: 20140068045
Abstract: A disclosed example is a network system including physical nodes. The network system provides a virtual network system including virtual nodes allocated computer resources of the physical nodes. In a case where the network system performs migration of a first virtual node for executing service using computer resources of a first physical node to a second physical node, the network system creates the communication paths for connecting the second physical node and the neighboring physical nodes on the physical links, starts the service executed by the first virtual node using the computer resources secured by the second physical node, switches communication paths to the created communication paths for switching the virtual links.

  • Publication number: 20130064077
Abstract: A node apparatus capable of performing flexible load distribution and performing a high speed processing of packets, has an interface connecting to multiple packet processors through a switch, stores association information for associating each packet with information of the packet processor, and forwards a packet associated with information of a first packet processor in the association information to the first packet processor. The node apparatus has a control unit that when the first packet processor is determined to be in high load more than or equal to a threshold, updates the association information so that a packet being processable by the first packet processor may also be associated with information of a second packet processor in the association information. The interface forwards a packet associated with the information of the second packet processor in the updated association information to the second packet processor unit.

  • Patent number: 8396986
Abstract: In cooperation between each data center and a WAN, virtual machine migration is carried out without interruption in processing so as to enable effective power-saving implementation, load distribution, or fault countermeasure processing. Each node located at a boundary point between the WAN and another network is provided with a network address translation (NAT) function that can be set dynamically to avoid address duplication due to virtual machine migration. Alternatively, each node included in the WAN is provided with a network virtualization function; and there are implemented a virtual network connected to a data center for including a virtual machine before migration, and a virtual network connected to a data center for including the virtual machine after migration, thereby allowing coexistent provision of identical addresses. Thus, the need for changing network routing information at the time of virtual machine migration can be eliminated, and a setting change for migration accomplished quickly.

  • Publication number: 20120198091
Abstract: It is provided a network system comprising a plurality of computers and a control apparatus coupled to the plurality of computers via a plurality of network apparatuses. The control apparatus holds a plurality of first addresses and conversion rules for converting each of the plurality of first addresses into a second address, extracts one of the plurality of first addresses and one of the conversion rules when requested by one of the plurality of computers, and transmits the extracted one of the plurality of first addresses and the extracted one of the conversion rules to the one of the plurality of computers that has issued the request. The one of the plurality of computers that has issued the request converts the one of the plurality of first addresses into the second address by using received conversion rule, and holds the converted second address.
