  • Patent number: 6909728
Abstract: In a communication system capable of establishing synchronization among a plurality of communication apparatuses, a master node transmits a WC packet including a system time and a sample count to a transmission node and a reception node. The transmission node transmits a data packet to the reception node while establishing synchronization by using the WC packet. The reception node processes the received data packet while establishing synchronization by using the WC packet.

  • Patent number: 6477181
Abstract: In transmitting a plurality of data arranged in a time series of a first period (T), there is formed, every predetermined second period (SF) longer than the first period (T), a packet containing a plural number (x) of data supplied within a given cycle of the second period (SF). At that time, one data is specified from among every group consisting of a fixed number (M), not smaller than two, of the data, and time information indicative of a time position of the specified data is attached to the packet which the data belong to. A receiving-end unit reproduces the data, by reproducing the respective time positions, i.e., the first period (T), of the individual data on the basis of the time information contained in the received packet.

  • Patent number: 5412152
Abstract: Tone waveform data is divided into plural data segments, so that frequency and magnitude of respective spectra contained therein are analyzed for each of the data segments. Analyzation parameters indicative of the frequency and magnitude of the respective spectra for each said data segment which has been obtained through the analyzation is stored into a memory. The analyzation parameter for each data segment is sequentially read out from the memory, and the tone waveform data is reanalyzed on the basis of the read-out parameter. To control the frequency of a resulting tone, a data shift circuit may be provided which serves to shift the value of the frequency data contained in the analyzation parameters.

  • Patent number: 5247511
Abstract: A casing of a sound record playing apparatus includes of an upper body (1B) and a lower body (1A), and a vibration plate (16) is formed by reducing a thickness of a part of the upper body. An inner surface of the vibration plate is in abutment with a pickup (13) to amplify the vibrations of the pickup. Thus, a conical speaker which has been used conventionary can be eliminated, and the thickness of the recording disk reproducing apparatus is reduced. Expansion member (6) includes cam surfaces (71b, 72b) which force the grooved recording disk (2) away from the pickup (13) when the expansion member (6) is rotated conversely.
