Abstract: A recording apparatus includes: a captured data acquisition unit configured to acquire captured data captured by a camera that captures an image of an outside of a vehicle; an event detection unit configured to detect an event with respect to the vehicle; an attachment/detachment detection unit configured to detect an attachment/detachment state of the recording apparatus with respect to the vehicle; and a recording controller configured to store, when the event detection unit has detected the event, captured data for a predetermined period of time due to the detected event as first event recording data, invalidate, when it is detected by the attachment/detachment detection unit that the recording apparatus has been detached from the vehicle, the detection of the event by the event detection unit after the detection of the detachment, and store captured data after the detection of the detachment as second event recording data.

Abstract: A communication device is connected via a network, to a terminal device and another communication device for configuring an IP address of the terminal device. The communication device includes an address configuration information acquisition unit and an address configuration unit. The address configuration information acquisition unit acquires, from one of the terminal device and the other communication device, information indicating whether an IP address of the terminal device has been configured, and, in a case an IP address of the terminal device has been configured, information on the IP address configured. The address configuration unit configures an IP address of the terminal device in which an IP address has not been configured and which is not associated with the other communication device based on the information acquired by the address configuration information acquisition unit.

Abstract: A first recorder can be connected to a network. A recorder information acquisition unit acquires state information of a second recorder connected to the network. In a case where the second recorder is in a normal state, a camera information setting unit registers any of unregistered first to third cameras to the second recorder being in the normal state within a range of the settable number of ordinary channels on the basis of the acquired state information. In a case where the second recorder is in an abnormal state, the camera information setting unit substitutively registers any of the first to third cameras registered to the second recorder even in a range of the number of substitute channels.
