  • Patent number: 4621771
Abstract: A flow control nozzle with a nozzle body arranged at one side of a joint body and a driver arranged at the other side thereof. The nozzle body comprises a nozzle chip having an orifice at the center of the front end, a cone chip with turning grooves which is in abutting engagement with the tapered face within a cavity of the nozzle chip, and a control rod fitted slidably in an axial through-hole of the cone chip and has one end adapted to close the orifice. The driver comprises an electromagnetic plunger and an electromagnetic coil. The control rod and the electromagnetic plunger are biased toward each other by springs. This nozzle permits the proportional control of the quantity of spray to be performed.

  • Patent number: 4504198
Abstract: An electromagnetic pump of the built-in electromagnetic valve type including an electromagnetic plunger actuating electromagnetic coil and an electromagnetic valve operating electromagnetic coil disposed co-axially in adjacent relationship and having magnetic paths of their own separated from each other by a non-magnetic portion, to obtain a desired magnetic flux distribution. The two electromagnetic coils have the same direction of windings to obtain an improved magnetic flux distribution, thereby providing improved pump operation. By passing a half-wave rectified current or a pulse current of a predetermined cycle to the two electromagnetic coils connected in series with each other, a magnetic flux can be produced in each electromagnetic coil and made to flow in the magnetic path exclusive to each electromagnetic coil, so that mutual interference of the magnetic fluxes produced by the two electromagnetic coils can be avoided.

  • Patent number: 4410302
Abstract: An automatic air venting device including a venting cylinder communicating with the pressure side of an electromagnetic plunger pump down-stream of a discharge valve thereof, a valved plunger fitted in the venting cylinder for sliding reciprocatory movement, a valve mounted at an end of the valved plunger on the side of a return port, a valve seat located at the return port and adapted to be engaged by the valve when the internal pressure of the pump is above a predetermined value during operation of the pump, a spring urging the valve to be brought out of engagement with the valve seat, and a leak passage formed in the valved plunger for bringing the pressure side of the pump into communication with the return port when the valved plunger is urged by the spring to move in a direction in which the valve is brought out of engagement with the valve seat.

  • Patent number: 4220910
Abstract: An electromagnetic pump in which the ignition sound at the time of starting of a combustor is lowered by delaying a raising speed for the delivery pressure of fuel oil. The delivery pressure of fuel oil is automatically controlled by means of an electronic delay circuit including a silicon controlled rectifier which is phase controlled in synchronism with a power source, a trigger diode, and resistors and condensers used for setting the amount of time delay.
