  • Patent number: 7019063
Abstract: The rubber composition of the present invention is used for producing an inner liner of a pneumatic tire, and is obtained by compounding a rubber component and a layered or plate-like mineral. The layered or plate-like mineral has an aspect ratio of 3 or more and less than 30. The present invention further provides a production method of the rubber composition and a pneumatic tire which is produced by using the rubber composition. The present invention is applicable to a tire of passenger vehicles, bus or truck, and a tire of airplane. According to the present invention, the air permeation resistance is remarkably improved and the workability is also improved. Therefore, the rapture and hole defect of a non-vulcanized sheet during the tire construction can be avoided. By using the rubber composition, the gauge of the inner liner of pneumatic tire can be reduced while maintaining the inner pressure of tire, thereby reducing the weight of tire.

  • Patent number: 5846475
Abstract: Method and apparatus for reducing a shrinkage amount of a rubber member (51) which is comprised of a rubber (3) extruded from an extruder (1). At least one vibrator unit (10a, 10b) applies vibration to the extruded rubber (3) so as to increase the shrinkage speed of the extruded rubber (3) and cause a sufficient advance shrinkage of the extruded rubber within the extrusion train (1), thereby reducing a posterior shrinkage amount of the rubber member (51). An adjustable thermoregulator (30) maintains the extruded rubber (3) at a controlled temperature during application of vibration.

  • Patent number: 5556572
Abstract: There are herein disclosed a rubber composition for cleaning a mold which comprises 100 parts by weight of a natural rubber and/or a synthetic rubber, 2 to 30 parts by weight of an amino-alcohol salt in terms of an amino-alcohol content, 5 to 50 parts by weight of a glycol, 30 to 90 parts by weight of an adsorbent and 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of an organic peroxide, and a method for cleaning the mold by the use of this rubber composition.Since the amino-alcohol is fixed as the salt, the generation of ammonia odor at the time of kneading or at room temperature can be prevented to improve a working environment, and the volatilization of the amino-alcohol can be inhibited, whereby a mold cleaning effect can be maintained even after the lapse of a long time.
