  • Publication number: 20060123704
Abstract: A greening structure comprising a plant-cultivatable planting portion on a water-reserving portion and laid on a pavement for forming a greening area. The greening structure further comprises post-shaped members provided substantially consecutively from a portion where an external force loaded on the planting portion is directly received, to the bottom of the water-reserving portion or to the pavement, so that the external force loaded on the planting portion is received on the pavement through the post-shaped members. The greening structure is excellent in the supporting strength and the stability to provide a satisfactory treading feel. The substantially consecutive post-shaped members include: first post-shaped members disposed upward from the bottom of the planting portion; and second post-shaped members disposed downward from the bottom of the planting portion.

  • Patent number: 6965192
Abstract: A color picture tube apparatus having an inline electron gun that allows technology for applying a dynamic voltage to an OLF lens to be implemented, while avoiding design difficulties. Eave-shaped electrode plates are attached, parallel with each other in a horizontal scan direction, to a field-correction electrode plate, which is a horizontally long, flatten plate in which three holes are provided, and whose shape is similar to that of an aperture in a circumferential electrode. This structure allows quadrupole lenses to be formed as auxiliary lenses having strong focusing action horizontally and divergent action vertically, and thus an HV differential can be increased. As a result, it is possible to reduce the dynamic voltage without any of the design difficulties accompanying the prior art, in which eave-shaped electrode plates are not provided.

  • Patent number: 6927531
Abstract: A set of three cathodes, a control electrode, an accelerating electrode, a first focus electrode, a second focus electrode, a third focus electrode, a fourth focus electrode, a final accelerating electrode and a shield cup electrode are provided successively in an electron beam travelling direction. The shield cup electrode has a pair of screen-shaped electrodes that sandwich electron-beam through-holes in a vertical direction. A quadrupole lens that has a horizontal convergent action and a vertical divergent action is generated by an electrical potential difference between the screen-shaped electrodes and the final accelerating electrode. Accordingly, even if vertical and horizontal convergence power difference in a main lens formed by the fourth focus electrode and the final accelerating electrode is not large, a composite lens formed through a combination of the quadrupole lens and the main lens has strong horizontal convergence power and weak vertical convergence power.

  • Patent number: 6696789
Abstract: The present invention provides a high-resolution color picture tube device with a decreased beam spot diameter. The color picture tube device has an electron gun including cathodes, a control electrode, an accelerating electrode, a G3 electrode, a first focusing electrode, a second focusing electrode, and a final accelerating electrode that are arranged in this order. A voltage applied to the G3 electrode is obtained by dividing with a resistor a voltage applied to the final accelerating electrode, and when an electron beam is a non-deflection state, a relationship represented as Va>Vg3>Vfoc2 is satisfied where Va, Vg3, and Vfoc2 denote voltages respectively applied to the final accelerating electrode, the G3 electrode and the second focusing electrode. Thereby, the G3 electrode is applied with a high voltage independently for forming a prefocus lens.

  • Patent number: 6498443
Abstract: A color TV tube apparatus having a horizontal deflection coil for generating a pincushion-shaped horizontal deflection field, which uses a self-convergence method. In such a color TV tube, the horizontal deflection coil is adjusted so that the vertical focus points of the electron beams lie 50 mm or less on the inside and 30 mm or less on the outside of each edge of the effective display screen area along the horizontal axis. The horizontal deflection coil is adjusted with the focusing of an electron beam by a lensing action of an electron gun non-operational.

  • Patent number: 6320333
Abstract: A color picture tube of the present invention comprises three in-line cathodes (1a, 1b, 1c) aligned in the horizontal direction, a first focussing electrode (4) supplied with a focus voltage, a second focussing electrode (5) supplied with a dynamic voltage that changes in accordance with a deflection angle of the electron beams, a final accelerating electrode (7) supplied with an anode voltage, an intermediate auxiliary electrode (6) arranged between the second focussing electrode (5) and the final accelerating electrode (7). The intermediate auxiliary electrode (6) is supplied with a voltage between the voltage of the second focussing electrode (5) and the anode voltage. A non-axisymmetric electrostatic lens for focussing electron beams in the horizontal direction and diverging them in the vertical direction is formed between the first and second focussing electrodes (5, 6). The power of the non-axisymmetric electrostatic lens changes in accordance with a deflection angle of the electron beam.

  • Patent number: 6194824
Abstract: Four magnetic pieces are provided inside the cup-shaped portion of a shield cup. Correction magnetic field generating faces at the tips of the magnetic pieces are opposed to each other and sandwich an electron beam. Correction can be conducted according to the astigmatism amount of three electron beams because a correction magnetic field corresponding to the strength of a deflection magnetic field can be generated easily by leading the deflection magnetic field absorbed by the principal face portion of each magnetic piece to the correction magnetic field generating face. Thus, the difference in astigmatism amount among the electron beams caused by the deflection magnetic field can be corrected. Therefore, a color cathode ray tube apparatus that can display images with a high resolution over the whole screen surface can be provided.

  • Patent number: 6144150
Abstract: A color picture tube apparatus comprises auxiliary electrodes provided between first and second focusing electrodes, a nonaxisymmetric electrostatic lens is generated between the auxiliary electrodes and a focusing lens is generated between the first focusing electrode and the auxiliary electrode. A dynamic voltage V.sub.d is applied to the first and second focusing electrodes. Consequently, the effect of compensating the astigmatism of the electron beam caused by the deflection magnetic field and the defocus of the electron beam can be increased, the dynamic voltage can be decreased, and as a result, the cost of the circuit can be reduced. As the focusing function of the additional focusing lens is weakened and the electron beam trajectory is expanded, the magnification of the lens both at the center and the periphery of the screen can be equalized substantially and the uniformity of the focus of the electron beam between that at the center of the screen and that at the periphery of the screen becomes high.

  • Patent number: 5831399
Abstract: A color picture tube apparatus comprises cathodes, a control electrode, an accelerating electrode, a first focusing electrode, a second focusing electrode and a final accelerating electrode, a voltage applying means which applies a dynamic voltage which increases with increasing deflection angle to the second focusing electrode, a resistor which is connected between the first and second focusing electrodes. Electron beam through holes that are vertically oblong are provided at the facing sides of the second focusing electrode and the final accelerating electrode. A quadrupole electric field lens is formed wherein a focusing effect is obtained in the horizontal direction and a diverging effect is obtained in the vertical direction when the potential level of the second focusing electrode is higher than that of the first focusing electrode.

  • Patent number: 5747922
Abstract: In a color picture tube having a wide and flat screen, one set of in-line three electron beam through holes on an end face of a first focusing electrode facing a second focusing electrode are formed with a vertically oblong rectangular shape, and the other set of in-line three electron beam through holes on an end face of the second focusing electrode facing the first focusing electrode are formed with a horizontally oblong rectangular shape, a pair of protrusions is provided on a pair of longer sides of each of the electron beam through holes. Therefore, intensive quadrupole fields, by which deflection distortion can be cancelled, can be generated. Fluctuation of the quadrupole fields due to interference of a dynamic voltage and focusing voltage, which are to be applied to the focusing electrodes, can be prevented.
