Abstract: A doze alerting device includes a casing, an earplug and an electronic operating circuit. The earplug is insertable into either the left or right ear of a user to locate the casing at a desired angular position. The circuit incorporates an audio generator for generating a doze-alert audio signal and a gravity switch for triggering the generator. The switch has first and second contacts closing to trigger the generator, with the second contact being movable under the influence of gravity along a path towards and away from the first contact. The path is fixed relative to the casing so that the switch provides a trigger signal when the casing moves from a first angular position corresponding to an upright position of the head when the user is looking straight ahead to a second angular position corresponding to a dipped position of the head when the user starts to doze.

Abstract: A doze alerting device (100) comprising a casing (200), an earplug (300) and an electronic operating circuit (400). The earplug (300) is insertable selectively into either one of the left and right ears, as desired, of a user to locate the casing (200) on the head at a desired angular position. The circuit (400) incorporates an audio generator (402/410) for generating a doze-alert audio signal and a gravity switch (500) for triggering the generator (402/410). The switch (500) has first and second contacts (522/540) for switching to trigger the generator (402/410), with the second contact (540) being movable under the action of gravity along a path towards and away from the first contact (522) to perform switching.

Abstract: A photo album includes front and rear covers, a volume of pages bound between the covers, each page for holding at least one photograph, and an audio recorder for recording an audio message and playing back a recorded message. The recorder includes an electronic control circuit mounted on a printed circuit board affixed to one of the covers, and includes a memory device for storing recorded messages. The recorder includes a microphone and a speaker connected to the control circuit, the microphone and speaker inputting and outputting a message respectively, and at least one electrical switch supported by each separate page. The switch is associated with at least one photograph held by the same page and is connected to the control circuit for triggering the audio recorder to record or play back a message associated with the at least one photograph.

Abstract: A photo album (100) comprising front and rear covers (110 & 120), a volume of pages (200) bound between the covers (110 & 120), each page (200) being adapted to hold at least one photograph, and an audio recorder (300) for recording an audio message and playing back a recorded message. The recorder (300) comprises an electronic control circuit (500) mounted on a printed circuit board (310) affixed to one of the covers (110 & 120), which includes a memory device (IC2) for storing a said recorded messages. The recorder (300) includes a microphone (330) and a speaker (350) connected to the control circuit (500), said microphone (330) and speaker (350) being for input and output of a said message respectively, and at least one electrical switch (360) supported by each separate page (200) for movement therewith.
