  • Publication number: 20240090505
Abstract: Pesticidal compositions may include an active ingredient, a solvent system, a first surfactant, and a second surfactant. The active ingredient may include a sulfoximine. The solvent system may include a polyalkylene carbonate solvent and a second solvent. The first surfactant may be an alkoxylated alcohol. The second surfactant may be an ethoxylated castor oil. Methods for pest control may include contacting a population of pests with a pesticidal composition. In some aspects, pesticidal compositions are particularly suited for use against pests from the order Nematocera, Brachycera, and/or Cyclorrhapha.

  • Publication number: 20230189805
Abstract: Insecticidal compositions may include an active ingredient, a solvent system, a first surfactant, and a second surfactant. The active ingredient may include a sulfoximine. The solvent system may include a polyalkylene carbonate solvent and a second solvent. The first surfactant may be an alkoxylated alcohol. The second surfactant may be an ethoxy lated castor oil. Methods for insect control may include contacting a population of insects with an insecticidal composition. In some aspects, insecticidal compositions are particularly suited for use against mosquitos.

  • Patent number: 8475769
Abstract: A stable, high VOC, single phase, non-aqueous liquid aerosol composition having enhanced dispersion based on reduced particle size and increased evaporation rate to result in improved active ingredient dispersion, slower settling in air and less residue on surfaces. The composition includes at least one hydrocarbon propellant, at least one active ingredient and a solvent blend. The solvent blend includes at least one low volatility solvent and at least one high volatility solvent wherein each has a defined vapor pressure and Hansen solubility parameter. The composition upon dispersion as a spray has an aerosol particle size of less than 30 microns.

  • Publication number: 20120131986
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods for measuring the concentration of volatile air treatment chemicals in the air. These methods can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of, and/or optimize, dispensers that dispenses a volatile air treatment chemical into a test area. One runs side by side sampling of air using both sorbent tube and solid phase micro extraction fiber collectors to develop a correlation curve between air treatment chemical concentration results from the sorbent tube sampling and amount readings from the SPME sampling. One then uses SPME collectors to measure in a passive manner the performance of the volatile dispensers.
