  • Publication number: 20040263085
Abstract: An organic light-emitting diode display device has a scan line layout that has different sizes of pixel areas depending on their scan line distance to control the display areas. For the line which has a shorter distance and lower voltage drop, the pixel display area is greater. On the contrary, the line which has a greater distance and greater voltage drop, the pixel display area is smaller. Therefore each display pixel has the same current density. Thereby the entire organic light-emitting diode display device has an uniform display brightness.

  • Publication number: 20040246758
Abstract: A shift register includes at least one stage circuit that has at least three voltage control switches, a storage element, and a first clock signal, a second clock signal and a third clock signal to control various switches. Input signals are stored in the capacitor and sequentially transferred to the next stage. During transferring to the next stage, pixel switches of one row on the panel display are activated to receive information delivered from the data end for displaying on the pixels. The clock signals have the characteristics that the first clock signal, second clock signal and third clock signal are not at the same certain potential concurrently to prevent the switches of each stage (the second and third switches) from forming a DC path and burning out.

  • Publication number: 20040075628
Abstract: A double-side display device mainly employs the advantage of the transparent cathode that enables an OLED display device to illuminate on two sides concurrently or adopts a novel design for a conventional single side display OLED such that only one driving module is needed to output signals to display the same picture on the positive (anode) side and the negative (cathode) side concurrently. While the displayed pictures and characters are inverse in terms of the left and the right directions, they may be controlled and rectified through software. Thus on the same OLED display panel, two large display zones may be designed and setup to display on the positive (anode) side and the negative (cathode) side.

  • Publication number: 20040002951
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and a method for automatically processing a plurality of information platform states, such as servers, network device and database. Each information platform respectively has at least one state file. The state file records the states of the information platform in a unified format. The state files are received from information platforms through a single transmission protocol and analyzed to determine whether a notification should be sent to a receiver. An electronic notification then is transmitted to the receiver. The present invention also provides a unified interface for presenting information. The present invention reduces managing complexity and costs, and increases productivity.

  • Publication number: 20030122751
Abstract: A method for generating an uniform luminosity for displaying contents on an organic light emitting diode display device that include a plurality of pictures and a plurality of pixels has a driver circuit in the display device to light the pictures and pixels. The method includes: (A) setting a unit time which is the time of the driver chip to scan every pixel; (B) calculating the multiple of the area of every picture; (C) obtaining the multiple of the maximum area; and (D) calculating the multiple of the area of every picture according to step (B).
