Abstract: The present invention relates to an attenuated reovirus-based vaccine composition and a use thereof, the attenuated reovirus, according to the present invention, having the 251st to 455th amino acids of a sigma-1 protein of a capsid truncated such that when an epitope of an antigenic protein inducing cancer or infectious disease is introduced to the truncated site of the sigma-1 protein, the epitope of the antigenic protein is stably expressed in a cell, and thus the effect is gained of exhibiting an immune response such as producing a neutralizing antibody or inducing cell-mediated immunity. As such, the present invention is expected to be usefully employable as a vaccine composition for cancer or infectious disease by introducing the epitope of the antigenic protein to the truncated site of the sigma-1 protein of the attenuated reovirus according to the present invention.

Abstract: In the present invention, if it is determined that address assignment request messages are received from a plurality of devices, a home server on the network commands each of the plurality of devices to generate a temporary address. Receiving temporary addresses generated by the plurality of devices according to the address generation command, the home server assigns unique network addresses to the received temporary addresses and transmits the network addresses to the plurality of devices, thereby assigning a unique network address to each of the plurality of devices on the network.

Abstract: Disclosed are a remote control system for a home appliance network and a method for operating the same. The system includes a wired and wireless Internet network; at least one home server for controlling and managing a home network connected to a plurality of home appliances; and a central portal server for updating an IP (Internet Protocol) address to a varied IP address to manage the home server whenever an IP address allocated to the home server for using the Internet network varies, and for exchanging data with the home server. The system and method enable the central portal server to manage a plurality of home servers and remotely control a plurality of home appliances connected to the home network by allowing the home server to transmit a key message containing a varied IP address so that an existing IP address stored in a database of the central portal server can be updated to a new IP address when a home server using a dynamic IP is connected to the central portal server.

Abstract: A home network system and a control method thereof in which an electric home appliance periodically transmits an alive message through a network to inform that it is in operation, and a home server transmits/receives messages to/from the electric home appliance via the network to control the electric home appliance. The home server transmits an operation identification request message to the electric home appliance when no alive message from the electric home appliance is received by the home server.

The home appliance networking system comprises a plurality of passive home appliances for transmitting and receiving data to/from an internal network of a home networking system. The passive home appliances are controlled according to control commands received over the internal network. The home appliance networking system further comprises a plurality of active home appliances that transmit the control commands for the passive home appliances to the internal network, and a network manager that manages the internal network and controls data transmission and reception of the plurality of passive home appliances and the plurality of active home appliances.

Abstract: A home network system and a method for adding and/or deleting home appliances thereto/therefrom. The home network system is constructed so that a plurality of home appliances can transmit and receive data to/from one another. The home appliances are assigned logical addresses, respectively. A plurality of power line modems are connected respectively to the home appliances to modulate and demodulate data transmitted and received over an internal network by the home appliances. A network master is provided to assign the logical addresses to the home appliances and a home address to each of the power line modems, respectively. Therefore, the home network system can be efficiently constructed, and a desired home appliance can be simply deleted from the internal network.

Abstract: Disclosed are a system for remotely controlling home appliances and a method for operating the same. The system for remotely controlling home appliances, includes: a wired and wireless Internet network; a home server for controlling and managing a home network connected to the home appliances; a central portal server for exchanging XML (extensible Markup Language) format data with the home server connected through the Internet network; and remote control equipment connected to the Internet network for remotely controlling the home appliances and forwarding a control command to the central portal server.
