Abstract: A data transmission system and method thereof for edge computing are provided. A terminal mobile station international subscriber directory number (MSISDN) and a terminal IP of a target terminal are obtained with a domain name system (DNS) by a device providing communication services from the data transmission system. After data packets are sent to the data transmission system, if the target terminal is in an idle mode, a paging message is sent by a terminal wake-up module to enable the target terminal to return to a connected mode for communication. Before a connection is established between the data transmission system and the target terminal, downlink data packets can be temporarily stored, and the packets can be sent after the target terminal is in the connected mode. A computer readable medium for executing the data transmission method is also provided.

Abstract: A ZIF socket (1) for receiving pins (6) of a CPU includes a dielectric base (3), a cover (4) movably mounted on the dielectric base, and a plurality of contacts (2) received in the base. Each contact comprises a soldering section (20), a retaining section (21) secured within a passageway (30) of the base, a connecting section (23), and a contacting section (22) for electrically connecting with the pin. An L-shaped portion (25) is formed by the contacting section and the connecting section. A guiding section (24) extends along an inner edge of the L-shaped portion and is coined in a blade-shape.

Abstract: An LGA socket comprises an insulative housing defining a number of passageways therethrough and a corresponding number of terminals retained therein. Each terminal forms upper and lower spring arms partially extending beyond the corresponding passageway, a curved linking portion for connecting the upper and lower arms, and a securing arm extending from the lower arm towards the upper arm and secured to the insulative housing. The upper arm can be deformed to contact the securing arm thereby providing a short electrical path therethrough and reducing the overall height of the LGA socket.
