Abstract: An electronic device and an information display method thereof are provided. The electronic device has a screen and is configured to receive signals from a touch input/output interface. The screen displays a file management frame including a plurality of objects, wherein each of the objects is corresponding to a view area within the file management frame and has additional information and/or a preview icon. In the present method, an enlargement or shrinking touch signal is detected via the touch input/output interface. The view area corresponding to each of the objects is adjusted according to the enlargement or shrinking touch signal. Regarding each of the objects, the content of the additional information to be displayed in the view area corresponding to the object is changed according to the enlargement or shrinking touch signal.

Abstract: A method and a user interface apparatus for managing functions of wireless communication components are provided. The present method displays a plurality of status bars respectively representing the wireless communication components on a screen of a communication device and arranges the status bars to form a management interface, wherein each of the status bars corresponds to a status switching region and displays a plurality of function icons of usable functions of the corresponding wireless communication component. Then, the communication device detects a selection operation from a user. When the selection operation is selecting the status switching region, an activation status of the wireless communication component corresponding to the selected status switching region is switched. When the selection operation is selecting the function icon, a function corresponding to the selected function icon is executed.

Abstract: A method and a system for filtering and displaying information from different sources are provided for a terminal device. In the method, a filtering program resident in the terminal device is provided to set at least one information type and one relevant interested condition, and the terminal device is connected to different information sources. After the terminal device connects to at least one information source corresponding to the information type, a specific information is extracted from at least one information updated by the information source according to the relevant interested condition, and the specific information is displayed on a desktop of the terminal device so as to assist a user in obtaining the important information more effectively.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method of operating a screen are disclosed; the touch screen has a display area and a non-display area, and the method includes steps as follows. First, a first sensing signal is generated when a designator controls a pointer on the non-display area. Then, a second sensing signal is generated when the pointer is moved from the non-display area to the display area. Then, a third sensing signal is generated when the pointer is moved on the display area. Last, a user interface is opened in the display area when a processing module receives the first, second and third sensing signals sequentially.

Abstract: A method and a touch panel for providing a tactile feedback are provided. In the present method, a touch operation acting on the touch panel of an electronic device is detected at first. Then, before outputting the tactile feedback, an output attribute of the tactile feedback is altered according to a behavior of the touch operation. Accordingly, the user may experience different tactile feedbacks while performing different touch operations on the same electronic device.

Abstract: A method for operating a space menu, suitable for an electronic device having a screen is provided. In the present method, a plurality of item objects are sequentially displayed along a linear path on a menu plane to generate a space menu. Then, an operation of a user for the space menu is received and used for operating the space menu. The item objects on the menu plane are rotated about a rotation axis according to a position of the item object pointed by the operation so as to protrude the pointed item object from the other item objects, in which a direction of the rotation axis is not parallel to a normal direction of a display plane of the screen. Further, an item function is executed according to the item object selected by the operation.

Abstract: A user interface operating method is provided. The method is suitable for an electronic device having a touch screen. First, a touch sensitive area is activated to detect a first touch. Then, a second touch on the touch screen is detected when the first touch is detected to be laid on the touch sensitive area. Finally, a function of the user interface is enabled according to the second touch.
