    Abstract: A method of spatial modulation using an antenna array including radiating elements having power amplifiers communicatively coupled thereto. An amplitude of an output signal to be formed in space is determined by the antenna array based on an input signal. Output amplitude levels for the radiating elements are determined based on the amplitude of the output signal and a current output amplitude level of the antenna array. The first signal(s) for a first subarray of the antenna array and the second signal(s) for a second subarray of the antenna array are generated based on the input signal. The output amplitude levels are assigned to the power amplifiers of the radiating elements. The first signal(s) are sent to radiating elements of the first subarray and the second signal(s) are sent to radiating elements of the second subarray for transmission therefrom to form a combined signal in space as the output signal.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an implementation method for ultrasensitive Brink control for a delayed enzymatic reaction based on DNA strand displacement (DSD), relating to the field of feedback control technology based on DSD in biological systems. The method includes obtaining an enzymatic reaction process model with time delay; constructing a CRN-based Brink controller; obtaining a static mapping expression between an output of the Brink controller and an output of the system under a steady state condition; constructing a Brink controller by DSD reaction; obtaining a time delay representation, and applying it to DNA implementations of the enzymatic reaction process model; and combined with the Brink controller, controlling a delayed enzymatic reaction process model. The present invention is structurally free of subtraction, reduces the number of abstract chemical reactions required to implement, and greatly simplifies DNA implementation.

    Abstract: A radio frequency device has a multifunctional tuner that stores measurements of reflection coefficient parameter in a register. The radio frequency device also has a transceiver that has a transmitter. The transceiver may detect a transmitter signal from the transmitter to an antenna in an initial tuning state and then determine whether the transmitter signal is stable. In response to the transmitter signal being stable, the transceiver may measuring the reflection coefficient parameters at the multifunctional tuner. Furthermore, the radio frequency device has a baseband controller that has a memory to store instructions and a processor to execute the instructions. The instructions cause the processor to determine an antenna impedance based on the reflection coefficient parameters, and in response to determining that the antenna impedance is greater than or less than a threshold antenna impedance, iteratively tune the antenna using the multifunctional tuner.

The dielectric resonator antennas may include dielectric columns excited by feed probes. A flexible printed circuit may include transmission lines coupled to the feed probes. The flexible printed circuit may have a first end coupled to the antenna module and extending towards peripheral conductive housing structures forming an additional antenna and a second end coupled to transceiver circuitry. Ground traces on the flexible printed circuit may be shorted to ground structures at the first and second ends to improve the antenna efficiency of the additional antenna. The flexible printed circuit may include an elongated slot with overlapping conductive structures and laterally surrounded by a fence of conductive vias to improve the flexibility of the flexible printed circuit while providing satisfactory antenna performance.
