    Abstract: An adjustable damper includes a tube body, a driving rod to be displaced in the tube body and to engage a screw sleeve to drive a screw rod and further a fixed seat for rotation. The fixed seat has a plurality of permanent magnets surrounding for circular rotation and an operation element is driven by a rotating element for repeated linear displacement; a magnetic surface is further arranged on an inner periphery of an annular element of the operation element and an annular gap is arranged between the magnetic surface and the permanent magnets; therefore the displacing annular element is able to adjust a damping force of the driving rod by adjusting an overlapped area of the permanent magnets and a magnetic surface, and further adjust an eddy load formed thereby. The damper overcomes the problem of oil leakage and ensures the durability and quality with its adjustability.

    Abstract: A torque release mechanism for all terrain vehicles which includes a driving disc fixedly mounted on a rear axle of the all terrain vehicle and having one side provided with a circular flange and a tubular portion, a friction plate put over the circular flange, a sprocket put over the flange, a fixing plate put over the flange, a resilient member put over the tubular portion and in contact, and a fastening member fixedly engaged with the tubular portion to force the resilient member against the fixing plate, whereby when the sprocket is subject to a heavy weight or a large torque which exceeds the frictional force produced by the friction plate, the sprocket will be rotated independently and will not drive the driving disc via the friction plate thereby reducing loading to the chain and the sprocket and therefore protecting the chain and the sprocket from being damaged.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an external rotor motor for a treadmill. A supporting shaft extends between mounting brackets. A coil stator is installed in the middle of the supporting shaft. Rotation seats are fitted to both sides of the coil stator by means of bearing, respectively. A belt wheel is arranged at one side of the rotation seat. An external rotor is arranged around the coil stator by means of both rotation seats. An annular thickened section is disposed onto the round housing of the external rotor, thereby forming a flywheel type device. Accordingly, processing and material cost of the present invention can be reduced and the treatment of the dynamic balance is performed only one time so that the required precision is easily achieved.

When the current control supplies electricity to the coil, it is a direct driving motorized device while it is a non-motorized treadmill at power failure.

By changing the air gap between the rotor and stator, the magnetic flux density is changed. Characterized in that the axial displacement of the stator is replaced by a stator which performs the radial displacement. The loading or resistance can be adjusted in a stepless manner. The overall dimension of the loading device can be reduced and it can be applied in a more flexible and subtle way.

    Abstract: A magnetic brake is provided having a combined collar and flywheel with a braking disc and a fan which are all rotatably mounted on a shaft fixed between a pair of frames. The magnetic brake further includes an electromagnetic coil wound on an electromagnetic ferrite core, a plurality of permanent magnets mounted on an inner surface of the collar, and a stator coil wound on a stator ferrite core disposed in a stator ferrite core seat. An electrical circuit is provided having a rectifying circuit coupled to a first voltage regulating circuit for powering the stator winding and the other circuitry. A digital-to-analog converter is included for converting an input digital control signal to an analog control signal. The output of the converter is coupled to a second voltage regulator, the output of which is coupled to a current regulating circuit for driving the stator winding.
