  • Publication number: 20150023340
Abstract: On the case of receiving data frame from a station, the method of the present invention instructs the repeater to replace the content of the receiver address field by the address of the bridge when receiving the frame transmitted from the station, and then forwards the frames to the bridge. On the case of receiving a data frame transmitted from the bridge, the repeater can replace the content of transmitter address field by the address of the repeater itself, and then forwards the data frame to the station.

  • Patent number: 7558208
Abstract: The method of the present invention selects an access point with the lowest load, which will reply to the probe-request packet sent by a station, and then constructs an association between the station and the access point with the lowest load so as to balance the load of the plurality of access points. To select the access point with the lowest load, a master access point sends a load collection packet, and the access points with the same service set identifier send a load index packet when receiving the load collection packet. Afterward each access point performs a load comparison procedure to select the access point with the lowest load. The access point with the lowest load will turn on the probe-response function, and the other access point will turn off the probe-response function.

  • Publication number: 20090150404
Abstract: In a method of reading files from a remote server by an email, the method is applied in a network system having a remote server, a computer and the Internet. The remote server includes a database for storing files and is connected with the computer through the Internet. Users can create an email including a request instruction at the computer and send the email to the remote server for a request of reading files from the remote server. After the remote server reads the email, a file list is replied to the computer according to the request instruction. The user can create another email including a select instruction and a file location and send such email to the remote server. After the remote server receives such email, a corresponding file in the database is returned to the computer according to the select instruction and the file location.

  • Patent number: 7136355
Abstract: A transmission component for processing priority packets supported by using a single chip's buffer structure. Packets of network data are divided into high priority packets and low priority packets. High priority packets in the component are sent first, followed by low priority packets in order to satisfy priority requirement. Moreover, packets are transmitted continuously without stopping to maintain packet transmission at high performance. Furthermore, the transmission component of the present invention is compatible with different kinds of chip structure, and therefore no hardware must be changed when applied to different kinds of chip structure.
