  • Publication number: 20030077111
Abstract: A device for adjusting the position of a stroller handle includes two housings each having a first half part, and a second half parts turnably combined with the first half part. The housing each receives a toothed disk, and ahs a control button thereto. The toothed disks have radial teeth, and are each biased to the joint of the half parts by a spring so as to engage the locking teeth of the first half part and the teeth of the second half part at the same time for preventing the second half part from moving relative to the first half part. The second half parts can be turned relative to the first ones when the control buttons are manipulated to make the toothed disks disengage the first half parts, thus allowing the handle to be adjusted.

  • Publication number: 20020195299
Abstract: A stroller brake with supporting function has a main body, a control pedal and an engaging rod. The control pedal is connected to an upper edge of the main body. The engaging rod is secured to a lower part of the main body. The main body is pivoted to a lower end of a rear wheel connecting member from an upper part so that it can be moved between a locking position where first holes of the main body engages lateral positioning protrusions of the rear wheel connecting member and where the engaging rod engages engaging rooms of the rear wheel and an unlocking position where second holes engages the lateral positioning protrusions to keep the engaging rod engage off the engaging rooms. When the stroller is folded, and the brake moved to the locking position, the stroller can be supported in an upright position by the rear wheels and the brakes.

  • Publication number: 20020197102
Abstract: A control device for folding movement of a stroller includes a safety button, a control button, two upper locking members and two lower locking members. The safety button can move left and right along an elongated opening of a housing member connected to the handle. The control button can move up and down through a lower hole of the housing, and has two pivotal bars having upper holes pivoted to a pivotal rod passing through upright elongated holes of lateral protrusions of the control button. When the safety button is pushed sideways to disengage the tops of the lateral protrusions, the control button can be pushed up for inner bottom curved surface to force the pivotal bars to pivot towards a respective edge of the control button. Steel ropes connected to the lower ends of the bars are pulled by the bars to lift upper locking members, which are provided to engage lower locking members pivoted to the frame of the stroller.

  • Publication number: 20020195784
Abstract: A direction limiting structure of a stroller front wheel includes a control lever and an elastic member. The control lever is pivoted to a connecting block supporting the wheel axle, and has a pointed end and an engaging part. The elastic member is attached to the connecting block form a lower end, and has an upper convex part and a middle concave part. The limiting structure further has an engaging gap on an outer side of a support rod of the stroller, which a pivotal rod part of the connecting block passes through. The control lever can be pivoted to a locking position where the pointed end is in the middle concave part of the elastic member and where the engaging part abuts the lower edge of the support rod; when the direction of the wheel changes for the engaging part to face the engaging gap, the elastic member will further bias the pointed end downwards, making the engaging part move into the engaging gap to prevent the direction of the wheel from changing.

  • Publication number: 20020170111
Abstract: A base of a foldable baby bed has two axles each trunally passed through a pair of receiving holes of a main body. The axles are each pivoted to two connecting rods form two ends: the connecting rods are pivoted to the frame of the bed. The main body has a controlling handle with two end cam parts being fitted onto hollows on two sides of the main body. A pivotal bolt is passed through the cam parts through hole on the hollows, connected to a connecting bolt up-and down movably passed through a receiving room on a top portion of the main body. The through holes have elongated opening for the pivotal bolt, and the connecting bolt to move up and down by pivoting the handle on the pivotal bolt. The connecting bolt is connected to an engaging board movably received in the main body. The engaging board has engaging holes on two end portions for separably engaging rod-shaped engaging parts sticking out from the middle of the corresponding axles.

  • Patent number: 6478503
Abstract: A locking device for a handrest of a stroller includes two connecting tubes secured to the front of the stroller and two pairs of locking members. The pairs of locking members are movably received in a respective one of the tubes; the locking members have lower button parts passing through lateral holes of the tubes to show, and are pivoted to the tubes from middle portions with upper engaging portions being movably received in recesses of inner sides of the tubes. An elastic member is disposed between lower parts of each pair of locking members to bias the upper engaging portions towards the center of the tube. Thus, a handrest having engaging protrusions at two ends can be locked with the tubes by means of passing the engaging protrusions into the tube to engage the upper engaging portions of the locking members. The handrest becomes removable from the tubes when the lower button parts are pressed inwardly of the tubes to disengage the upper engaging portions from the engaging protrusions of the handrest.

  • Patent number: 6202229
Abstract: A joint of a foldable bed for babies comprises a main body, a pressing block and two supporting members. The main body has two side plates connected by an intermediate curved portion. The pressing block is slidably fitted in the main body. The supporting members are pivotted to the main body, and each separably engage a respective side trench of the pressing block to be located at a first position. The pressing block is biased downwards by a spring. Two supporting rods of the frame of the folable bed are pivotted to the main body. The supporting rods have inner ends contact and engage the supporting members when same are located at the first position. To fold the bed, the pressing block is pressed upwards to disengage same from the supporting members, the supporting members being pivotted on the main body. Thus, the supporting rods of the frame can be pivotted on the main body to fold the bed.
