  • Publication number: 20050150435
Abstract: A pedestal assembly (20) includes a chassis (200), a gear wheel (300) pivotably mounted to the chassis, two supporting members (400) coupled to the chassis, and a coil spring (500) received between the chassis and the gear wheel. The chassis includes a stop portion (222) depending downwardly from a side of a top wall (210) thereof. The gear wheel includes first teeth (330) extending from a periphery thereof. Each supporting member includes a rack (440) comprises second teeth (444) engaging with the first teeth, and a first clasping portion (448) formed on an outer side thereof. When one of the first clasping portions is locked by the stop portion, the coil spring is compressed, while when the first clasping portion is unlocked from the stop portion, the coil spring is decompressed and drives the gear wheel to rotate to cause the supporting members to move relative to the gear wheel.

  • Publication number: 20050103729
Abstract: A fastening device (40) for securing data storage devices (30) includes a drive bracket (10), and a fixing plate (20). The drive bracket includes two sidewalls (11) defining grooves (12) for slidably receiving screws (32) engaged in opposite sides of each data storage device. One of the sidewalls comprises two supporting tabs (18, 19) each defining a pivot aperture (13, 17). The fixing plate includes two locking blocks (29) defined in a first portion (26) thereof, two resilient members (25) stamped from a second portion (28) thereof, and two opposite pivot axes (21) extending outwardly from a flange (22) thereof. The locking blocks are corresponding to the grooves defined in said sidewall, and the pivot axes are engaged with the pivot apertures. The fixing plate can pivot about the supporting tabs, thereby the data storage devices can be readily received in or removed out from the drive bracket.

  • Publication number: 20050094363
Abstract: A fixing device (20) for securing an antenna (10) to a front panel (60) of a computer enclosure (80), includes a main body (22), two fixing arms (24) extending from opposite ends of the main body, and two locking arms (30) extending from the main body and perpendicular to the fixing arms. Two position posts (23) and two pairs of hooks (42) are formed from the main body and engage in corresponding position holes (62) and mounting holes (64) of the panel. Two aligned slots (26) are defined in the fixing arms for receiving the antenna. Each locking arm includes a connecting portion (32) and a bent portion (34). Each locking arm can rotate around a rotation section (31) of the connecting portion, and a locking hole (38) of the bent portion can engage with a locking block (28) of the fixing arm thereby securing the antenna in the slots.

  • Publication number: 20050078445
Abstract: A mounting apparatus includes a storage bracket (30), an operating member (60), a locking member (50) and a pair of springs (70). The operating member has at least one slant portion (647). The locking member is restrained from moving along with the operating member. The locking member has at least one inserting pin (54) and at least one sliding tab (56). The springs press on the locking member to urge the inserting pin to extend into the storage bracket. The inserting pin of the locking member is lifted out of the storage bracket by the slant portion of the operating member edging the sliding tab of the locking member out, when the operating member is pushed.
