  • Patent number: 7238020
Abstract: A control device for controlling hydrogen flow of a hydrogen storage canister accommodated in a canister containing chamber includes a heating device which is connected to a heating fuel storage tank via a heating fuel supplying pipeline for conveying a heating fuel to a catalyst bed in the canister containing chamber and generating heat by combustion of the heating fuel at the catalyst bed. A blowing device provides an air flow to the canister containing chamber. A controller controls the operation of the heating device and the blowing device in correspondence to a temperature signal detected from an internal space of the canister containing chamber. The controller is coupled with a setting unit for setting various parameters which are stored in a parameter storage unit for controlling the controller.

  • Patent number: 6881052
Abstract: A device for heating hydrogen storage canister includes a canister containing chamber for accommodation of at least one hydrogen storage canister, a catalyst bed arranged in the canister containing chamber for catalysis. A blowing device provides an air flow through an air flow leading pipe to a nozzle section which is connected with a heating gas drawing pipe to the catalyst bed. A heating fuel storage tank supplies heating fuel which is conveyed to the nozzle section through a heating fuel supplying pipeline, a coiled pipe and a heating fuel conveying pipe in sequence. When the air flow flows through the nozzle section, the heating fuel is drawn into the nozzle section to mix with the air flow, forming a heating gas. The heating gas is atomized by the nozzle section and flows to the catalyst bed where the heating gas is catalyzed to burn to generate a hot gas to heat the hydrogen storage canister.

  • Publication number: 20030099575
Abstract: A method for preparing tungsten trioxide precursor and a hydrogen sulfide gas sensor made thereof. The method includes dissolving a soluble tungsten compound in a solvent to form a solution; and adding thickener to the solution to adjust the viscosity thereof. In the above method, the viscosity of the produced tungsten trioxide precursor is adjusted so that it can be coated onto a substrate by spin or screen coating. The substrate is then thermal processed to decompose the organic component to obtain tungsten trioxide. A conventional method is then applied to fabricate a hydrogen sulfide gas sensor.

  • Patent number: 6475249
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a membrane electrode assembly of a fuel cell by solvent pretreatment to the electrolyte membrane of the membrane electrode assembly is disclosed. A prepared electrolyte membrane is soaked in alcohol solvent for pre-expanding the electrolyte membrane at first, a catalyst layer is uniformly coated onto at least one side of the pre-expanded electrolyte membrane, and then the electrolyte membrane is dried for evenly shrinking the electrolyte membrane and the catalyst layer. Finally, the electrolyte membrane with catalyst layers is interposed between two gas diffusion electrodes, and the resulting sheet is pressed with heating to form the membrane electrode assembly.
