Patent number: 11657105Abstract: The automated social networking graph mining and visualization technique described herein mines social connections and allows creation of a social networking graph from general (not necessarily social-application specific) Web pages. The technique uses the distances between a person's/entity's name and related people's/entities names on one or more Web pages to determine connections between people/entities and the strengths of the connections. In one embodiment, the technique lays out these connections, and then clusters them, in a 2-D layout of a social networking graph that represents the Web connection strengths among the related people's or entities' names, by using a force-directed model.Type: GrantFiled: May 10, 2018Date of Patent: May 23, 2023Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Zaiqing Nie, Yong Cao, Gang Luo, Ruochi Zhang, Xiaojiang Liu, Yunxiao Ma, Bo Zhang, Ying-Qing Xu, Ji-Rong Wen

Publication number: 20220349217Abstract: A vehicle door lock is disposed in a vehicle door and includes a ratchet wheel rotatable between a locked position where it captures a lock catch disposed on a vehicle body and an unlocking position where it releases the lock catch to allow the vehicle door to be opened. The vehicle door lock further includes an ice-breaking mechanism disposed in the vehicle door, and the ice-breaking mechanism applies a torque to the ratchet wheel to cause the ratchet wheel to rotate in a direction to push the lock catch so as to open the vehicle door. The vehicle door lock can be opened by pushing the ratchet wheel with e ice-breaker mechanism when the vehicle door is frozen or deformed due to collision, the operation noise is low, the cost is low, and the paint surface of the vehicle door is protected.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2022Publication date: November 3, 2022Inventor: Ying Qing Xu

Patent number: 9416626Abstract: A downhole tool for removing debris from a wellbore comprises a mandrel and a shroud disposed around a portion of the mandrel. The mandrel includes at least one mandrel port in fluid communication with a mandrel bore. The shroud includes a cavity and a shroud port. Debris laden fluid is pulled into the shroud cavity by flowing fluid through the mandrel bore, out the mandrel port, into the shroud cavity, and through the shroud port. The debris-laden fluid is pulled into the shroud cavity due to a pressure differential created by the flow of the fluid through the mandrel port and out of the shroud port. As the debris laden fluid flows into the shroud cavity, the debris is captured within the tool.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2013Date of Patent: August 16, 2016Assignee: Baker Hughes IncorporatedInventors: Ying Qing Xu, Gregory L. Patent number: 9292580Abstract: A user behavior model provides personalized recommendations based in part on time and location, particularly to users of mobile devices. Entity types are ranked according to relevance to the user. Example entity types are restaurant, hotel, etc. The relevance may be based on reference to a large-scale database containing queries from other users. Additionally, entities within each entity type may be ranked based on relevance to the user and the time and location context. A user interface may display a ranked list of entity types, such as restaurant, hotel, etc., wherein each entity type is represented by a highest-ranked entity with the entity type. Thus, the user interface may display a highest-ranked restaurant, a highest-ranked hotel, etc. Upon user selection of one such entity type the user interface is replaced with a second user interface, for example showing a ranked hierarchy of restaurants, headed by the highest-ranked restaurant.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 2014Date of Patent: March 22, 2016Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Tao Mei, Ying-Qing Xu, Shipeng Li, Jinfeng Zhuang, Bo Zhang, Peng Xu

Patent number: 9273526Abstract: Anchoring systems for disposition in wellbores and tubular devices comprise a tubular member defined by two or more radially expandable slip members. The upper ends of the slip members are shaped such that when the slip members are in their respective run-in positions and in their respective set positions, a portion of an upper end of one slip member overlaps a portion of an upper end of another slip member so that the longitudinal space between each slip member that is created when the slip members are in their set position are blocked by the upper end of at least one of the slip members. Thus, in their set position, the upper end of at least one of the slip members provides a back-up to a sealing element that can be disposed adjacent to and in contact with the upper ends of the slip members when in their set positions.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2013Date of Patent: March 1, 2016Assignee: Baker Hughes IncorporatedInventors: Levi B. Patent number: 9228414Abstract: A downhole tool for removing debris from fluid flowing through the downhole tool comprises a screen member in sliding engagement with an inner wall surface of the tool. As the screen member becomes blocked, it moves from a first or initial position to a second or actuated position which causes a pressure change detectable at the surface of the wellbore. The pressure change causes the debris blocking fluid flow through the screen member to fall off the screen member thereby allowing an increase in fluid flow through the screen member. As a result, the screen member returns to its initial position and fluid again flows through the screen member for capturing by the screen member.Type: GrantFiled: June 7, 2013Date of Patent: January 5, 2016Assignee: BAKER HUGHES INCORPORATEDInventor: Ying Qing Xu

Patent number: 9080401Abstract: A downhole tool for moving fluid through the tool comprises a rotatable sleeve disposed within a bore of the tool. The sleeve includes an opened upper end and a closed lower end to define a cavity. A fluid movement profile is disposed along the lower end. A directional port is disposed in the side of the sleeve in fluid communication with the cavity and an upper port disposed in the tool. The upper port can be isolated from a lower port in the tool, the lower port being in fluid communication with the fluid movement profile. A first fluid flowing downward enters the cavity, exits the directional port causing rotation of the sleeve, and flows out the tool through the upper port. Sleeve rotation causes a second fluid to be drawn upward into contact with the fluid movement profile which directs the second fluid out of the lower port.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2012Date of Patent: July 14, 2015Assignee: Baker Hughes IncorporatedInventor: Ying Qing Xu

Patent number: 8973662Abstract: A downhole tool for removing debris from a wellbore comprises a body having a bore, a collection member, and a means for creating a hydraulic barrier within a wellbore annulus. The hydraulic barrier within the wellbore annulus restricts upward movement of a debris laden fluid within the wellbore annulus causing the debris laden fluid to be directed toward the collection member. Thus, the hydraulic barrier facilitates removal of debris from the wellbore.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2012Date of Patent: March 10, 2015Assignee: Baker Hughes IncorporatedInventors: Yang Xu, Ying Qing Xu, Gregory L. Patent number: 8831349Abstract: A user may perform an image search on an object shown in an image. The user may use a mobile device to display an image. In response to displaying the image, the client device may send the image to a visual search system for image segmentation. Upon receiving a segmented image from the visual search system, the client device may display the segmented image to the user who may select one or more segments including an object of interest to instantiate a search. The visual search system may formulate a search query based on the one or more selected segments and perform a search using the search query. The visual search system may then return search results to the client device for display to the user.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2013Date of Patent: September 9, 2014Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Tao Mei, Shipeng Li, Ying-Qing Xu, Ning Zhang, Zheng Chen, Jian-Tao Sun
