Abstract: A plunger device for use with a beverage press having a screen for filtering fines from an infused beverage. A flexible seal is provided that is compressible to function properly in different sized containers. The seal may be made of a material such as rubber or rubberized plastics or the like and may have a width that is greater than its thickness. Various seal embodiments including ascending, descending and non-circular embodiments are disclosed. Brew control and multiple access openings are also disclosed.

Abstract: A fluid holding vessel that has a liquid holding member, a bottom attached handle and a base member. The liquid holding member may have a shell and a lining, and preferably has an exposed side wall made of plastic with a seamless surface. The principal components of the vessel may be joined by a single fastener. The handle may have an attachment end secured between the liquid holding member and a base member and a free-standing user end. The lining and/or base member may be made of a metallic material.

Abstract: A vessel for holding liquid having an outer ceramic shell and an inner metallic lining. The metallic lining may extend over the top of the shell to provide protection from damage. A base member may be provided. The metallic material may be any food safe metal, including stainless steel and aluminum and alloys thereof. The ceramic may be any suitable ceramic including porcelain, earthenware and glass. Handle and non-handles vessels are disclosed as are resealable and non-resealable vessels. The metallic and ceramic materials may be separated by an insulative gap.

Abstract: A swimming exercising and training tether device includes an elongated tether line connected at one end preferably through a coil spring or other elastic, shock-absorbing member, to an anchor adjacent a wall of a swimming pool and at the opposite end detachably to the back panel of a harness worn by a swimmer. The attachment to the back panel is in the area intermediate the shoulders of the swimmer. Intermediate the ends of the tether line it extends freely through a loop or ring secured to the back panel of the harness in the area intermediate the hips of the swimmer. The loop or ring functions to raise the hips of the swimmer to the level promoting most efficient swimming posture in the water.

Abstract: A portable microwave oven turntable having a base assembly defining a base interior. The base assembly includes a planar bottom and upwardly extending sides supporting a circular base cover member. Within the base interior is a spring motor which may be wound to rotate a drive shaft about a vertical axis. An upper portion of the drive shaft projects from the base interior through the base cover member. Atop the base cover member a drive gear is fixed to the upper portion of the drive shaft. The drive gear has a plurality of radially extending arms having coplanar upper surfaces and opposed lateral edges. A circular tabletop is rested upon the radial arms of the drive gear and tabletop teeth or projections engage the lateral edges of the radial arms. The tabletop projections extend downwardly from the lower surface of the tabletop and project radially inwardly from an annular hub. Rotation of the tabletop is translated directly from the drive shaft via the radial arms.
