  • Patent number: 4783433
Abstract: This invention proposes an adsorbent containing mainly Cu(I) ion-exchanged and carried in a cation exchange site of a zeolite at an ion exchange ratio of not less than 50%, the zeolite having a silica/alumina ratio of not more than 10, and a salt of a least one metal selected from the group consisting of Cu(I), Fe, Zn, Ni, and Mg, the metal salt being dispersed and carried in pores of the zeolite. This invention also proposes a method of manufacturing the above adsorbent.
