  • Publication number: 20230177724
Abstract: A method for calibrating a vehicle to infrastructure system using an infrared camera overlooking a road, comprises: obtaining from the camera a first image, each image of the camera having points identifiable in an image coordinate system and corresponding to objects in a real world scene; identifying in the first image a plurality of points each of which corresponds to a respective object that is touching the road’s surface; obtaining a measurement that corresponds to a distance from a location of the camera to each respective one of the points in a camera coordinate system (CCS); determining a model of the road in the CCS based on the points and their obtained distances; and calculating a transformation between the CCS and a world coordinate system (WCS) using the road model, the transformation being usable to determine a distance in the WCS to an object in a second image.

  • Publication number: 20210034075
Abstract: A computerized system and method for managing a fleet of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) collaboratively performing a mission. The system receives mission requirements comprising mission goals, area of operation, characteristics of each UAS and calculates data acquisition points in the area of operation according to mission goals, sensor types and constraints. It then calculates a flight plan for each UAS. Once flying in the field, the system verifies for each UAS at predetermined intervals during flight the UAS' aerial location at that time and compares the UAS aerial location to the expected aerial location according to flight plan in that time. If necessary, adjustments are made to the flight plan of one or more UAS. Other considerations for flight adjustments are battery power level, mission goal accomplishments, signal quality and more.

  • Patent number: 8784346
Abstract: An automatic portable ambulant miniaturized system for applying pneumatic pressure to a body limb including a portable ambulant hand-held fluid source unit, a conduit for delivering fluid generated by the unit, and a sleeve coupled to the conduit and adapted to envelop a body limb. The sleeve contains one or more individually inflatable cells, each cell being subdivided into two or more longitudinally extending confluent compartments along the axis of the body limb. The compartments are inflated and deflated essentially simultaneously by the portable fluid source unit.
