A motion state monitoring system according to the present disclosure monitors a motion state of a target part of a subject's body. The motion state monitoring system includes an acquisition unit, an attaching direction detection unit, and a control processing unit. The acquisition unit acquires sensing information of a sensor attached to the target part. The attaching direction detection unit detects an attaching direction of the sensor. The control processing unit outputs information related to the sensing information in association with the attaching direction.

    Abstract: An information processing apparatus is configured to cause information input by contact of a contact object with a screen of a display apparatus to be displayed. The information processing apparatus includes: a calculating unit configured to calculate a feature amount of the contact object using output information output from a plurality of position detectors configured to detect a position where the contact object contacts the screen; an accumulating unit configured to accumulate at least one calculated feature amount; a tracking unit configured to track where the contact object contacts the screen based on the calculated feature amount and the at least one accumulated feature amount; and a control unit configured to control, when a determining unit determines not to receive input, input by contact of the contact object not to be received until the tracking unit finishes tracking where the contact object contacts the screen.

    Abstract: A contact detection system includes a display, an object detection unit disposed at periphery of the display to detect a contact of an object on the display, a device detector to detect a first light emitted from an input device to detect a contact of the input device on the display, and an information processing apparatus. The object detection unit includes a light source to emit a second light to an object. The device detector includes an image capturing device to capture an image using the first light or the second light. The information processing apparatus includes an image acquisition unit to acquire a captured image, and a control unit to control the light source to turn off the second light when a luminance-increased area exists in the captured mage, and to control the device detector to be ready to detect a contact of the input device to the display.
