  • Patent number: 5441380
Abstract: In a tray conveying apparatus, a supply path and a discharge path are situated on the upper and lower sides, respectively, of the apparatus. The stocking, waiting, switching and collecting stations are arranged one under the other in order on the base-end side of the supply path. The waiting station is situated on the supply path, while the switching station is situated on the discharge path. The working station is situated on the front-end side of the supply path, and the shunting station is situated under the working station on the discharge path. Each of the stocking, waiting, switching, working and shunting stations is so constructed as to support and release the tray. The collecting station is vertically movable by the separating lifter, and the receiving plate under the shunting station is vertically movable by the transferring lifter.

  • Patent number: 5438744
Abstract: An automatic finishing method for an airtight and waterproof slide fastener, comprising the steps of: supplying each of a pair of slide fastener chains, which has coupling elements attached to a waterproof fastener tape by clamp elements, by a pair of toothed supply rollers meshing with the clamp elements of the respective slide fastener chain; and threading the slide fastener chains through a slider situated on a travelling path of the slide fastener chains for interengaging the slide fastener chains and then discharging the interengaged slide fastener chains from the slider.

  • Patent number: 4799313
Abstract: An apparatus for threading a slider onto a pair of stringers of a slide fastener comprises a slider holder disposed in a longitudinal path of the opposed stringers, an aligning member disposed downstream of the slider holder for laterally aligning respective leading ends of the opposed stringers with each other which stringers have been threaded through the slider, and a clamp disposed between the slider holder and the aligning member for holding the opposed stringers in their aligned position. The clamp and the slider holder are relatively movable away from each other along the longitudinal path to draw the opposed stringers from the slider until endmost fastener elements are coupled.

  • Patent number: 4690629
Abstract: An injection molding machine for small-sized articles of thermoplastic synthetic resin comprises a hydraulically pressurizable injection head cylinder operable on an injection cylinder of an injection unit for injecting molding material into a mold, a hydraulically pressurizable clamping cylinder operable on one of a pair of mold members of the mold for opening and closing the mold, and a booster operatively connected to both the injection head cylinder and the clamping cylinder for converting pneumatic pressure into high hydraulic pressure to actuate the two cylinders in timed relation to each other.

  • Patent number: 4520544
Abstract: A slide fastener chain is fed along a chain path by a feedout mechanism until a leading end of the chain gripped by the feedout mechanism reaches a first feeder mechanism past a cutting mechanism. The first feeder mechanism is then actuated to feed the chain toward a second feeder mechanism. The first feeder mechanism is then inactivated and the second feeder mechanism is actuated to feed the chain at a higher speed. A slider on the chain is engaged by a slider sensor to intermesh element rows on the chain as it is transported by the second feeder mechanism. Then, a chain stop of a stop mechanism is inserted into an element-free gap in the chain and engaged by a bottom stop following the element-free gap to stop the travel of the chain. The second feeder mechanism is released and the cutting mechanism is actuated to cut off the chain across the element-free gap to produce a slide fastener, which is discharged by the second feeder mechanism into a sorting mechanism.
