  • Publication number: 20220404207
Abstract: An infrared detector capable of surface-mounting and excellent in electromagnetic wave resistance performance includes: a metal can-type infrared detector configured by disposing a pyroelectric photoelectric conversion element inside a metal package including a plurality of leads; and an insulating spacer made of an electric insulating material and equipped with a one or more through-holes through which the plurality of leads can penetrate. The plurality of leads of the metal can-type infrared detector are inserted into the through-hole from an upper surface side of the insulating spacer and a tip side of the lead is bent toward an outer periphery of the insulating spacer on a lower surface of the insulating spacer, whereby the metal can-type infrared detector is mechanically fixed to the insulating spacer.

  • Patent number: 4934729
Abstract: A double link type suspension system having an extension member for movably connecting the upper section of a knuckle and an upper control arm movably connected to the side of a vehicle body. A rotatable joint mechanism is provided between the knuckle upper section and the extension member and includes a cylindrical member fixed to the extension member. The axis of the cylindrical member is aligned with an axis line passing through a joint between the lower section of the knuckle and a lower control arm movably connected to the vehicle body side. A pivot shaft fixed to the knuckle upper section is disposed inside the cylindrical member and rotatably supported through two deep groove ball bearings disposed between the pivot shaft and the cylindrical member, thereby reducing jointing error between the knuckle and the extension member thus reducing camber angle error.

  • Patent number: 4457075
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for measuring wheel alignment of motor vehicles, particularly, toe-in and the angle of camber, comprising at least a pair of measuring units. Each unit comprises a sensor plate having a semi-circular configuration substantially corresponding to the upper half of the wheel to be measured. The sensor plate is brought into contact with the outer side face of one of a pair of front or rear wheels of a vehicle. The sensor detects the inclination of the sensor plate in the vertical level which is perpendicular to the floor surface on which the vehicle is placed. The sensor also detects the direction of the sensor plate in the horizontal level which is parallel to the floor surface. The angle of camber of the wheel is determined on the basis of the measured inclination of the sensor plate. The toe-in of the pair of wheels is determined on the basis of the measured directions of the sensor plates for the pair of wheels.

  • Patent number: 4429467
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring toe-in of front wheels of a motor vehicle. The apparatus includes units for measuring the inclination of corresponding wheels. The units are connected to a circuit displaying a value indicating lateral offset distance between the respective rear and front of each front wheel. Thus, equal distribution of toe-in to the right and left wheels is easily realized when the steering wheel is at the center position.

  • Patent number: 4383440
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for inspecting rough idling of a multiple-cylinder engine. The method comprises the steps of obtaining the engine speed, obtaining from the data of the engine speed the minimum value of engine speed in the vicinity of the time of starting of explosion in each cylinder, finding differences between the minimum values of the cylinders and inspecting the condition of revolution of the engine by the differences. The apparatus for carrying the method comprises a rotation change detecting sensor, a cylinder sorting sensor mounted to a specific cylinder, a rotation change signal generator and an output difference operation circuit.

  • Patent number: 4354380
Abstract: A present invention relates to fuel pump operating condition detectors, and more particularly to a fuel injection pump operating condition detector suitable for use in a distributor type fuel injection pump in a diesel engine mounted in a motor car, wherein fuel is pressure fed by a reciprocating plunger. The detector comprises an unpenetrated mount formed in a pump housing of the fuel injection pump adjacent the plunger or a reciprocating part operatively associated with the plunger and an electromagnetic pickup, the forward end of a core of which is fixed to the mount, and said electromagnetic pickup can detect through its output waveshape the running condition of the engine or the top and bottom dead centers of the plunger of the pump, which are the characteristics equal to a fuel injection timing, and a fuel pressure feed timing.
