Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing system, which can reduce calculation time by alleviating a calculation load in assessing the occurrence of tampering of an image. For example, the image processing system of the present invention first identifies a type of a form of an image to be assessed in assessing the occurrence of tampering. Next, a characteristic amount of a certain region (flexible region) corresponding to the identified type of a form is extracted as a characteristic amount of the image to be assessed. Then, the extracted characteristic amount of image to be assessed and the characteristic amount extracted from a certain region in an original image are compared and the compared result is notified as the assessment result. A flexible region, to which a user writes, is preferably specified as said certain region.

Abstract: An information processing method includes a storing step of storing a correspondence between destination names and e-mail addresses in a storage unit; a setting step of setting a destination name to which a document is to be transmitted; and an upload step of uploading the document to a document management server for a network printing in accordance with an e-mail address corresponding to the set destination name, a document being uploaded to the document management server and then being output in response to an output request from an owner of the e-mail address in the network printing. The uploaded document can be downloaded from the document management server to a printer through a communication medium and can be printed.

Abstract: In an information processing apparatus which divides a memory area into a plurality of boxes and manages data stored in each box, security information containing at least an editing condition and an output condition set for each box is stored. In transmitting data stored in a box to an external device, security information for the transmission target data is set based on the security information set in the box. This system includes a transfer source server and a transfer destination server connected via a network. The transfer source server duplicates the electronic data to create new electronic data and stores the same in conjunction with information indicating that the new electronic data is a duplicate and information identifying the transfer destination server to which the original has been transferred.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus and an image forming method are provided, which can reduce time and effort needed by consistency examination between a printed code data and a paper fingerprint data. In the present invention, paper fingerprint information before starting of the printing of the paper for output on which the document to be guaranteed in the originality authenticity is to be printed is acquired. When printing the document to be guaranteed in the originality authenticity, a code image data generated based on the paper fingerprint data of the paper for output on which the document is to be printed and the document mentioned above, are printed on the paper for output.
