Abstract: Provided are a measuring method and apparatus for a damaged part of a vehicle includes: acquiring an image to be processed of a vehicle; acquiring the damaged part of the vehicle in the image to be processed according to the image to be processed; acquiring first position information of key points in the image to be processed according to the image to be processed; determining a transformation relation between the image to be processed and a first fitting plane according to the key points included in the image to be processed and the first position information, where the first fitting plane is a fitting plane determined according to the key points included in the image to be processed on the 3D model; acquiring a projection area of the damaged part in the first fitting plane according to the transformation relation; and measuring the projection area to acquire a measuring result.

A second user equipment receives update information issued by a wireless access point (AP). The second user equipment is located within a coverage area of the wireless AP. After detecting that the second user equipment has the update information, a first user equipment establishes a connection with the second user equipment and obtains the update information from the second user equipment. A wireless AP of the first user equipment is located outside the coverage area of the wireless AP. In the present invention, the user equipment can update the information without additionally increasing the transmit powers of the wireless AP and the user equipment when located outside the coverage area of the wireless AP, and thus the interference to other equipments is not increased.

Abstract: A method for adjusting data rate in a network is disclosed. In the method, when a device is added to the network, a data rate controlling parameter is configured, and when there is a new service or the requirements of a service have been changed, the data rate will be adjusted by modifying the data rate controlling parameter of a source device and/or a transfer device. Therefore, the fairness among these devices would be guaranteed, and the congestion over the network would be mitigated. The present invention also discloses a wireless communication system, a data rate adjusting device, and a topologic server.

Since no access to the access network and the core network is needed during security authentication, thus reducing the signaling traffic of the access network and the core network.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the communication field and discloses a method for managing devices in a user network and a user network management entity which handles combining and splitting operations in the user network more efficiently. In the technical solution provided by the present invention, the management entity of the user network obtains the information about the location of the managed PANs and/or stand-alone devices, and, based on the location information, checks existence of any PAN and/or stand-alone device that can be combined or split. If any such device exists, the management entity performs the combining or splitting operation according to the combining or splitting mode preset or selected by the user.

Abstract: In a short distance wireless communication method, an originating communication terminal establishes a Personal Area Network based on a beacon, a receiving communication terminal connects to the Personal Area Network established by the originating communication terminal, and a short distance wireless communication between the originating communication terminal and receiving communication terminal is carried out based on a contention service channel resource in the Personal Area Network. A communication range of short distance wireless communication can be increased without increasing power consumption and while maintaining battery life of the communication terminal.
