  • Patent number: 10797464
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wavelength locking structure for a tunable laser and a wavelength locking method for a tunable laser. According to the present invention, since it is possible to use only one element for measuring the intensity of light, the number of parts is reduced in comparison to methods of the related art, so it is possible to perform wavelength locking economically with a down-sized structure.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 23, 2016
Date of Patent: October 6, 2020
    Assignee: CHEM OPTICS INC.
Inventors: Young Ouk Noh, Woo jin Lee, Yoon Koo Kwon, Jun Kyu Seo

  • Patent number: 10120142
Abstract: Provided is an optical transceiver module having a dual band pass WDM coupler embedded therein, wherein the dual band pass WDM coupler provides pass bands for selectively passing a transmission signal output from an optical transmitting unit, and an optical signal having a specific wavelength received by an optical receiving unit among optical signals input through a common port. According to the present invention, a size and cross-talk of the optical transceiver module may be reduced, and the optical transceiver module may be used as a video transceiver in an optical subscriber network according to an ITU-RG.983.3 standard.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9335770
Abstract: Disclosed is an optical transceiver capable of controlling self-heating according to temperature, more particularly, an optical transceiver which uses a PTC heater suitable for temperature characteristics to easily control self-heating. A PTC heater of which the self-resistance changes depending on the ambient temperature of uncooled laser diodes of an optical transceiver so as to adjust heating volume of the heater, is applied to a TO CAN, thus making it possible to significantly reduce power consumption while expanding an available temperature range of existing optical modules, even without a separate controller or using a minimum number of control circuits.
