    Abstract: A cleaning apparatus for cleaning cylindrical articles includes a container that defines a process chamber. The process chamber is adapted to receive cylindrical articles that have been soiled by dust. The process chamber is substantially closed except for an inserting/removing opening formed in the container. A dust duct is connected to the container so as to communicate with the process chamber. A device is provided for producing a gas-liquid mixture jet within the dust duct so as to induce airflow directed from the process chamber toward the dust duct. Therefore, dust will be drawn into the dust duct and will not scatter to the surrounding environment. The liquid may further wet the dust suspended within the dust duct in order to simplify the process for disposing of the dust removed from the article.

    Abstract: An electronic musical instrument provides an automatic tonality designating function capable of automatically designating a desirable tonality based on a chord and a rhythm kind which are respectively designated. The chord is designated by simultaneously depressing plural keyboard keys, while desirable one of plural rhythm kinds which are predetermined in advance is designated by the performer. In addition, a desirable mode can be determined based on the designated chord. Based on the mode, chord and rhythm kind, an automatic accompaniment can be performed. Further, this electronic musical instrument can also provide a chord detecting apparatus capable of automatically detecting a desirable chord based on plural notes (or note names) designated by the performer. In such chord detection, an evasive note is automatically omitted from all notes designated by the performer, so that the desirable chord can be detected with accuracy.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an automatic musical-accompaniment sound-generating apparatus for generating various accompaniment sounds. The original accompaniment patterns stored in the apparatus are varied according to the tempo of the accompaniment being produced. The apparatus is essentially composed of an accompaniment-pattern memory, accompaniment control memory, a tempo generator, a sound generation controller, accompaniment-sound signal generating means, and a sound system. The accompaniment-pattern memory stores data sets composed of sound data. The data sets correspond to original accompaniment patterns. The sound data correspond to musical notes and sounds composing the original accompaniment pattern. The accompaniment control memory stores control data about whether or not to generate each of the musical notes and sounds in relation with the tempo at which the accompaniment sounds are produced. The tempo generator generates tempo signals.

    Abstract: An electronic musical instrument comprises a plural number of component blocks capable of being coupled mechanically and electrically in succession and each having therein musical tone elements control means and at least one of the blocks having also musical tone signal generating means. Time range or tonal range of generated musical tones are changed according to how many blocks are connected consecutively in a predetermined or a selected order. The blocks can generate a series of musical tones in a sequence corresponding to a connecting sequence when a switch arranged on the leading block is operated, and a desired musical piece can be performed by operating performance operating means of each block. The electric musical instrument also can be used as an educational toy allowing infants to learn music while amusing and is convenient for transportation since it can be easily dismembered into each block.
