Abstract: A method and system for improving prediction, such as for online gaming, the method including the steps of: sampling values received from at least one sensor, over time; comparing the sampled values to at least one predefined pattern of sensor values; and identifying a set of sampled values at least partially matching at least one of the predefined patterns, wherein the sampled sensor values correspond, at least partially, to non-command-input related movement sensed by at least one sensor, and wherein the predefined pattern of sensor values is expected to precede a given command input.
