  • Publication number: 20240141337
Abstract: RNA molecules for RNA interference to target a mutant allele with a point mutation, wherein the molecule has a nucleotide sequence complementary to a nucleotide sequence of a coding region of the mutant allele; and when counted from the base at the 5?-end in the nucleotide sequence complementary to the sequence of the mutant allele: a base at position 5 or 6 is mismatched with a base in the mutant allele; a base at position 10 or 11 is at the position of the point mutation and is identical to the base at the position of the point mutation in the mutant allele; the group at the 2?-position of the pentose in the ribonucleotide at position 8 is modified with OCH3, halogen, or LNA; and the group at the 2?-position of the pentose in the ribonucleotide at position 7 is not modified with any of OCH3, halogen, and LNA.

  • Patent number: 7350286
Abstract: Threaded member assembling can be performed using a rotational/axial-movement-transmitting unit including an upper frame; a motor held by the upper frame; a female threaded member secured to the upper frame; a male threaded member assembled in the female threaded member, the male threaded member having a rotational/axial-movement-transmitting end at one end, and having a driven rotary end at the other end; and a joint member connecting an output terminal of the motor to the driven rotary end for transmitting rotation torque from the output terminal to the driven rotary end and for allowing axial movement of the male threaded member relative to the motor.

  • Patent number: 6192484
Abstract: An endeavor is made to enhance system reliability by automatically detecting the status of each HDD at startup, and detecting failures in nonvolatile memory as well so that a failure does not occur when restarting the system after it has gone down. Consequently, the present invention is a method for operating a disk array, this disk array comprising a plurality of physical disks, an intrinsic data memory, which stores intrinsic data read from this disk, an array controller, which controls the disk, and a status data memory, which stores status data indicating the control status of this array controller. Then, in accordance with the present invention, this operating method reads intrinsic data from each disk. And then the connection status of the array controller and disks is checked by comparing intrinsic data read from a disk with intrinsic data stored in memory.
