Patent number: 10252786Abstract: An exhaust gas processing apparatus that processes exhaust gas, including a reaction tower that includes an internal space extending in a height direction; a trunk tube that extends in the height direction in the internal space of the reaction tower and transports a liquid; and a plurality of branch tubes that are provided extending from an outer side surface of the trunk tube toward an inner side surface of the reaction tower, each include an ejecting section that ejects the liquid supplied from the trunk tube, and are provided at positions at different heights. Ejection regions of the liquid where the liquid is ejected from the respective ejecting sections of branch tubes that are adjacent in the height direction include a region in which the ejection regions partially overlap in an overhead view as seen from the height direction.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2018Date of Patent: April 9, 2019Assignee: FUJI ELECTRIC CO., LTD.Inventors: Nanae Matsumoto, Yoshiaki Enami, Kuniyuki Takahashi, Takashi Inui

Patent number: 6045934Abstract: A lightweight and inexpensive solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell having a simple structure wherein a stack is efficiently cooled to be able to cope with a high output density. Fuel gas flows through a fuel gas flow path provided in the stack while flowing air as an oxidizing agent through air reactive gas flow path to generate electric power. An air cooling gas flow path is provided inside the stack. Water is added to air fed from an air feed blower with a water feed unit. Humidified air flows through the air cooling gas flow path, and then flows through the air reactive gas flow path. Discharged air is cooled in a condenser to condense water, and the resulting condensed water is recirculated to the water feed unit.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 1998Date of Patent: April 4, 2000Assignee: Fuji Electric Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yoshiaki Enami

Patent number: 5922485Abstract: A solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell characterized by high cell performance, compact size and low cost prevents condensation and liquefaction of moisture in the reactant gases and facilitates uniform cooling in the electrode planes of the unit cells. The solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell features a unit cell structure including separators, each including an oxidant gas inlet, fuel gas inlets, coolant inlets, an oxidant gas outlet, fuel gas outlets and coolant outlets. The inlets are arranged in a peripheral region of the separators and the outlets in a central region of the separators. The oxidant gas, fuel gas and coolant are made to flow from the peripheral region to the central region such that the temperatures of the oxidant and fuel gases are higher near the reactant gas outlets. A continuous coolant flow path is provided by forming protrusions in the reactant gas conduits.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 1997Date of Patent: July 13, 1999Assignee: Fuji Electric Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yoshiaki Enami
