  • Patent number: 9240861
Abstract: A pathway control system, implementing control and setting for a communication pathway between wireless communication devices each implementing wired communication and wireless communication and each equipped with an AMR function, detects communication speed with respect to uplink wireless communication and downlink wireless communication in each wireless communication device, thus determining which one of uplink wireless communication and downlink wireless communication undergoes communication failure. It carries out adaptive modulation control on uplink wireless communication or downlink wireless communication, which undergoes communication failure, calculates new communication speed, and carries out STP pathway control based on new communication speed.

  • Patent number: 8694628
Abstract: Apparatus identification information about wireless access apparatuses judged to be able to communicate with a monitoring apparatus, among multiple wireless access apparatuses, is stored in a neighborhood database. If there is apparatus identification information that is not stored in the neighborhood database, among apparatus identification information stored in a registration database in which apparatus identification information about wireless access apparatuses registered as monitoring targets of the monitoring apparatus is stored, it is judged again for a wireless access apparatus to which the apparatus identification information is given whether communication is possible, after a predetermined time elapses. On the other hand, if there is no such apparatus information, or if the judgment is performed again for a predetermined number of times, the apparatus identification information stored in the neighborhood database is copied to the registration database.

  • Patent number: 8369502
Abstract: The present invention provides a communications system, presence server, and communications method used for them, which determines an optimum operation for phone call taken into account presence information of caller. The presence server compares a priority level allocated to caller presence information with a priority level allocated to receiver presence information, selects optimum operation from preset operations based on the comparison result and controls a exchange according to the selected operation.

  • Patent number: 8121592
Abstract: A mobile terminal, to which a phone number of a private IP network and a phone number of a public network are allocated, detects whether the mobile terminal moves from a communication area of a IP wireless base station of a private IP network while the mobile terminal communicates with an IP terminal connected to an IP-PBX of the private IP network through an IP wireless base station of the private IP network. The mobile terminal notifies the IP-PBX that it moves from the communication area of the IP wireless base station to the communication area of the public wireless base station when the mobile terminal detects said movement. The IP-PBX sends instruction for a gateway device, which connects communication between the private IP network and the public network, to call the phone number of the public network of the mobile terminal.

  • Patent number: 5757363
Abstract: A proposed computer input device for transmitting the displacement data representing the quantity and direction of the movement of a cursor to a computer is operable in a narrow space and easily portable. The input device is provided with a pressure sensitive pad composed of a conductive layer formed on the underside of a flexible sheet and a resistor layer formed on the upper face of a substrate at a predetermined interval from the conductive layer. When the flexible sheet is depressed, the conductive layer contacts the resistor layer at the depressed position. In a control circuit connected to the conductive layer and the resistor layer, when the contact of the conductive layer with the resistor layer is detected, a voltage of 5V is applied alternately in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction on the surface of the resistor layer. The depressed position on the pressure sensitive pad is sequentially computed from the voltage value produced on the conductive layer when the voltage is applied.

  • Patent number: 5048962
Abstract: An optical gyro includes: an optical propagation path in cooperation with a rotation axis, for propagating a pair of light beams therethrough simultaneously clockwise and counterclockwise, respectively, and causing a phase difference of light based on Sagnac effect; an optical system optically coupled to the optical propagation path, for effecting a generation, a distribution or coupling, a polarization, a frequency shift and a phase modulation of light beams and transducing a light beam indicating the phase difference of light into a corresponding electric signal to output a photoelectric output signal; and a signal processing circuit operatively connected to the optical system. The signal processing circuit effects a digital demodulation for the photoelectric output signal to obtain a signal proportional to an angular velocity with respect to the rotation axis, thereby realizing a stable phase modulation and an improvement in characteristics of the optical gyro.
