Abstract: A monitor mounting fixture includes a base member detachably mounted on an image pickup machine. A monitor supporting arm is supported on the base member such that it can be rotated in its peripheral direction. The monitor supporting arm has a portion bendable along an axial direction. A monitor mounting unit is mounted on the monitor supporting arm. The monitor mounting unit can detachably be mounted on a monitor display.

Abstract: An omnidirectional vehicle having at least three wheels which can be steered in a given directions to allow the vehicle to travel in any direction, comprises a large steering gear horizontally and rotatably mounted at a body, a motor for driving the large steering gear, steering shafts numbering the same as the wheels, extending vertically around the large steering gear and adapted to rotatably support the wheels at lower ends of the steering shafts, and small steering gears numbering the same as the steering shafts and concentricably fixed to the steering shafts, respectively, so as to mesh with the large steering gear and adapted to rotate the steering shafts upon rotation of the large steering gear to change the steering directions of the wheels. The steering shafts may be hollow shafts.

Abstract: An optical reading device provided with an exclusive display section for displaying character patterns and the like in response to electrical signals applied from deflection control circuits. The deflection control circuits include a scanning pattern memory for storing those data which correspond to the scanning patterns of the deflected light, and a character pattern memory for storing those data which correspond to character patterns of the deflected light, wherein a character pattern is displayed in the display section according to a scanning pattern based on the recognition of data detected by a photoelectric converter.

Abstract: A mobile robot calling system has a mobile robot normally waiting at a home position and connected to an AC power supply such that its battery is charged by the AC power supply in the wait status, and a calling oscillator for generating a calling signal to the mobile robot. The calling signal is supplied from the calling oscillator to the mobile robot through indoor AC power supply wiring. Relay transmitters are respectively arranged for a plurality of AC receptacles to relay the calling signal. A controller is arranged to control a plurality of calling devices and robot waiting stations. The controller cyclically checks the robot calling states of the calling devices and robot wait status in the waiting stations. The controller generates a robot calling command to the waiting stations in accordance with the robot wait status in the waiting stations when the robot calling signals are generated from the calling devices.

Abstract: An electronic cash register is provided with a box protruding from its back. The box has a frame portion for fixing the box to the electronic cash register. By fitting the frame portion on the electronic cash register, the box is fixed to the electronic cash register housing so as to project from its back. The electronic cash register is further provided with engaging portions on its back. Panels for advertisement are removably retained by means of the engaging portions.

Abstract: A compact portable printing electronic calculator comprises a holding section for receiving a recording paper tape which is multiple-folded in a large number of sheet forms and a printer set ahead of the recording paper tape outlet port of the holding section. The printer impresses data on the respective sheet forms, each time they are drawn out of the holding section.
