  • Patent number: 8396059
Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus obtains a switch port identifier mapping for each of the plurality of ports of a network device, wherein the switch port identifier mapping indicates a port identifier of one of the plurality of ports of the network device and a switch port identifier of a switch port to which the one of the plurality of ports is connected. The apparatus obtains a set of switch information for each of a plurality of switches, the set of switch information including a set of switch port identifiers associated with the corresponding one of the plurality of switches. The apparatus ascertains for each one of the plurality of ports, a corresponding one of the plurality of switches and a port of the one of the plurality of switches to which the one of the plurality of ports is connected.

  • Patent number: 6984972
Abstract: A carrier transporting apparatus comprises a thermostat for testing devices loaded on a carrier, and the carrier is carried out from the thermostat through an opening formed in the thermostat. A shutter is provided for opening and closing the opening, and a carrier guide is integrated with the shutter. As the shutter is opened for carrying out the carrier from the test section, the carrier guide is moved to a waiting position where the carrier guide does not obstruct the carrier. As the shutter is closed after the carrier is carried out, the carrier guide is moved to a guiding position where the carrier guide guides the carrier in a direction to cross the direction in which the carrier is carried out from the thermostat. Thereafter, the carrier guide guides the carrier so that the carrier is transported in the cross direction.

  • Patent number: 6541956
Abstract: In a horizontal carriage type auto handler, it is possible to identify a carrier efficiently without stopping the carrier when reading the carrier identification information provided in the carrier for transferring a device and to reduce the number of sensors for reading identification information. A plurality of timing holes and data holes are provided in the carrier as identification information. The carrier is detected when a timing hole detection sensor and a data hole detection sensor detect the timing holes and the data holes.

  • Publication number: 20020056190
Abstract: A hand of an auto handler comprises a suction section composed of a suction nozzle and a suction pad, a compulsory separation ring and a coil spring. An electronic component is transferred to a given position by allowing the compulsory separation ring to bring into contact with the electronic component at the periphery thereof in a state where the electronic component is sucked by the suction pad. At the given position, air is discharged through the suction pad, while the compulsory separation ring is lowered at the same time, thereby pushing out the electronic component under the suction pad. With the construction, the electronic component can be transferred with assurance while it is less inclined when it is sucked by the suction section.
