  • Patent number: 8408086
Abstract: An automated shift control device suppresses overload of the shift motor and reduces the time from beginning to completion of a gear shifting operation. A transmission has a plurality of pairs of speed change gears and a gear selecting mechanism. A shift motor drives the gear selecting mechanism. A shift power transmission mechanism transmits power from the shift motor to the gear selecting mechanism. A torque limiter has a third reduction gear and a third shaft forming a part of the shift power transmission mechanism. The torque limiter transmits power from the shift motor as torque. When the transmitted torque is not more than a predetermined limit torque, the third reduction gear co-rotates with the third shaft. When the transmitted torque exceeds the predetermined limit torque, the third reduction gear rotates relative to the third shaft to limit the transmitted torque to the predetermined limit torque or less.

  • Patent number: 8327208
Abstract: There is provided a time-division duplex transmit-receive apparatus in which the respective amplitude and phase characteristics of N sets of transmitting unit-receiving unit pair connected with N antenna elements are corrected all together and at the same time. At the time of reception, the reference signal from reference signal generator is branched into N reference signals. The branched reference signal is applied to the reception system through the transmit-receive switching switch. The reception-side error detector detects the error between the output signal of the reception-side amplitude-phase correction circuit and the reference signal to control the reception-side amplitude-phase correction circuit so that the error becomes zero. At the time of transmission, a part of transmitting signal is applied to the reception system through the antenna path.

  • Patent number: 7748292
Abstract: A bearing system can reduce the relative velocity between a bearing member and a rotation shaft and a rotating member to decrease a load on the bearing member although the rotation shaft and the rotating member rotate in opposite directions with the bearing member therebetween. The bearing system includes a case and a rotation shaft supported by the case. A rotating member is disposed coaxially outside the rotation shaft and rotates in the direction opposite to that of the rotation shaft. A housing is interposed between the rotation shaft and the rotating member and is fixed to the case. A bearing member that rotatably supports the rotating member is interposed between the housing and the rotating member.

  • Patent number: 7510503
Abstract: A clutch failure detector is provided for detecting failure of an automatic clutch system. The clutch failure detector can include a current value detector and a determination device. Upon turning ON a main switch, an operation to disengage and engage a clutch can be performed by a clutch actuator, and a totalized value of current supplied to a clutch actuator can be calculated for a specific period of time while the clutch is in the process of engaging in the operation to disengage and engage the clutch. The totalized value can be compared with a preset threshold, and if a difference between the totalized value and the threshold is equal to or greater than a given value, it is determined that an automatic clutch system has a failure.

  • Publication number: 20090031834
Abstract: An automatic transmission control apparatus that shortens the time from starting to finishing a shift motion and suppresses overload applied to a shift actuator. A transmission apparatus has a plurality of shift gear pairs with different transmission gear ratios, and a gear selecting mechanism that selects a shift gear pair transmitting power. A shift motor drives the gear selecting mechanism. A shift power transmission mechanism transmits power of the motor to the gear selecting mechanism. A mechanical fuse within the shift power transmission mechanism generates an irreversible state change such that the transmission power becomes equal to or less than a predetermined value if the transmission power exceeds the predetermined value.
