  • Patent number: 6400255
Abstract: A vehicle lock apparatus in which a wireless door lock function and an immobilizing function are established is provided. A key (26) is provided with a battery (30), a switch (32) and a control IC (28). An antenna-coil 12 is mounted at an end portion of a key cylinder (10). • Patent number: 5773803
Abstract: A code discriminating system checks the correspondence between a key code and each of a plurality of registered codes in a short time. The code discriminating system receives the key code from a transponder provided in a key so that the key code is compared with the registered codes. A priority is provided to one of the registered codes so that the key code is compared with the one of the registered codes first. Thus, the registered code having the priority is compared with the key code first. The registered code to be provided with the priority is selected so that the selected registered code corresponds to the key code provided to the most frequently used key. Thus, a time period spent on the determination process is reduced for the most frequently used key.

  • Patent number: 5763958
Abstract: An anti-theft system for a vehicle which monitors a state of a memory storing a check code so as to maintain a prohibition of operation of the vehicle when an abnormal state is detected in the memory. A control unit, provided in the vehicle, has a memory in which a first check code is recorded. A transmitting unit transmits a second check code to the control unit. The transmitting unit is separate from the control unit. Prohibition of operation of the vehicle is withdrawn when the first check code matches the second check code. The withdrawal of prohibition is prohibited when it is determined that the memory is not connected to the control unit. The withdrawal of prohibition may be prohibited when a first ID code stored in the memory does not match a second ID code stored in a second memory provided in the control unit.

  • Patent number: 5030799
Abstract: On the printed circuit board onto which are mounted parts requiring planarization, dummy patterns which are not electrically wired are made into a shape on which the mounting parts are easily mounted, and one or several thereof are disposed in the base of the printed circuit board. In addition, a hollow portion to which an adhesive is applied is provided in the center of the dummy pattern. The above-described mounting parts are mounted on the dummy pattern, and the mounting parts are bonded by means of the adhesive applied to the hollow portion.
