  • Publication number: 20070033602
Abstract: In the case of a disk with a high NA which enables high-density recording, since the coma aberration increases as the numerical aperture, NA, increases, a disk protective layer needs to be thin very much, and a damage or scratch imparted to a surface of the disk affects largely the record and reproduction of data. An object of the invention is to reduce the generation of damage to a storage disk due to a collision between a lens holder or an objective lens and the storage disk. With a view to attaining the object, according to the invention, a longitudinal direction of a protector 11 provided on a holder is made substantially parallel to a straight line which connects the rotational center of a motor with the center of an objective member.

  • Publication number: 20060285231
Abstract: The present invention relates to an optical component transmitting and/or reflecting light, which comprises at least two optical members and an adhesive layer bonding the optical members, said adhesive layer comprising a resin comprising a main chain having a siloxane bond as a repetition unit and a methyl group as a side chain. According to the optical component, it is possible to maintain its performance without deterioration of the adhesive layer, even when laser beams with high power are transmitted through and/or reflected by the adhesive layer.

  • Patent number: 6946945
Abstract: In an electronic component, an element section is formed on a base, and the element section has functions of at least one of inductance, resistor, and capacitor. Resist film is formed on at least the lateral faces of the base. An unnecessary part of patterned resist film is removed, and a protective member is formed on that removed place. Then remaining resist film is removed. This manufacturing method can provide the electronic component excellent in bonding strength between the protective member and the base.

  • Patent number: 6753371
Abstract: A fluorine rubber composition used for the surface layer material of a fixing member to fix a toner transferred onto a recording material comprises fluorine rubber having a polymerization degree based on vinylidene fluoride. The fixing member includes a base material, and a surface layer material disposed on the surface of the base material, and the surface layer material contains fluorine rubber having a polymerization degree base on vinylidene fluoride. Preferably, the fluorine rubber composition contains a reinforcing agent, antacid, vulcanizing agent, vulcanization accelerator, spherical filler, and solvent. Preferably, the fixing member has numerous fine convex portions on its surface. Accordingly, the amount of the toner adhering to the surface of the fixing member is reduced. Thus, generation of offset trouble can be reliably prevented for a long period of time. As a result, the durability of the fixing member will be improved.

  • Patent number: 5978203
Abstract: An electronic part such as a ceramic capacitor and a resistor used in various kinds of electric appliances has an apprehension that an electronic part element might be red-heated to be burnt when an abnormal current flows in spite of dielectric covering member, and therefore it has been impossible to supply a nonflammable electronic part having a stabilized performance. In the present invention, an electronic part is constructed such that since an electronic part element 8 such as a condenser or a resistor is put in a case 5 which in turn is nearly sealed to cut off the supply of oxygen, the electronic part is prevented from catching fire even if it generates heat, and since an opening 6 is formed in a portion of the case 5 or a sealing member 7 so as to allow the gas to be let out, when the electronic part generates heat to increase the pressure, the case 5 can be prevented from being ruptured. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a nonflammable electronic part having stabilized characteristics.
