  • Patent number: 9624974
Abstract: A magnetic bearing device comprises a controller configured to obtain magnetic levitation information of the rotor shaft by AD sampling of current detection signals from the plurality of current sensors and a sum signal obtained by adding the pair of current detection signals relating to the pair of electromagnets, and perform PWM control of the excitation amplifiers based on the magnetic levitation information. The controller performs PWM control so that a length of one of an on-duty period and an off-duty period of the PWM carrier signal is always longer than a predetermined time period based on an attenuation characteristic of a spike noise produced in the electromagnetic current, and performs the AD sampling after the predetermined time period passes from starting timing of one of the on-duty period and the off-duty period.

  • Patent number: 6549662
Abstract: Characters of data on a document are recognized by automatically determining the definitions of characters of the data from the arrangement of character strings of the data. Character strings on the document are extracted by reading the document, and headers and data on the document are distinguished from each other by determining the positional relationship between the character strings. Character attributes of the data are determined by recognizing characters of the character strings of the headers using a header recognition dictionary. Characters of the character strings of the data are recognized according to the determined character attributes of the data. Since character attributes of the data are determined from recognized characters of the headers after the headers and the data are distinguished from each other from the layout on the document, it is possible to enter automatically the character attributes of the data.

  • Patent number: 6118095
Abstract: In a resistance spot welder in which an operation of pressurizing an electrode is conducted by an electric servo motor, an amount of thermal expansion due to production of a weld nugget is detected every moment by reading an encoder which is incorporated in the servo motor. When the detected amount of thermal expansion reaches a preset reference value, it is judged that the weld nugget attains a predetermined strength, thereby stopping a current supply. According to this configuration, a predetermined amount of input heat is ensured, so that an excellent welding quality is surely obtained.
