Patent number: 4916901Abstract: A swashplate type variable displacement hydraulic device is so constructed that a plurality of plungers are slidably received in a plurality of cylinder bores arranged annularly around an axis of rotation, a back surface of a swashplate of which a fore surface is engaged by outer ends of the plungers is supported by a swashplate holder via bearing means, and a stationary swashplate anchor supports the swashplate holder to turn about a trunnion axis which intersects the axis of rotation at right angles. Opposing surfaces of the swashplate holder and swashplate anchor are formed as spherical surfaces of which a center is located at a position where the axis of rotation intersects the trunnion axis, the swashplate holder has a pair of trunnion shafts projected from opposite ends of the swashplate holder while extending along the trunnion axis, and the trunnion anchor is formed at opposite ends thereof with recesses with which the trunnion shafts are rotatably engaged.Type: GrantFiled: July 5, 1988Date of Patent: April 17, 1990Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tsutomu Hayashi, Yoshihiro Nakajima, Takushi Matsuto, Mitsuru Saito, Kenji Sakakibara, Katsumi Yamazaki, Nobuyuki Yakigaya, Kazuhiko Nakamura

Patent number: 4875390Abstract: A shift control device in a hydrostatic continuously variable transmission in which a hydraulic closed circuit is formed between a swash plate type hydraulic pump and a swash plate type hydraulic motor, and a swash plate holder for supporting a motor swash plate of the hydraulic motor is tiltably supported on a stationary structure through a trunnion shaft fixedly mounted on the swash plate, wherein a drive shaft of a reversible electric motor is connected to the trunnion shaft through a reduction device which is constructed so that it transmits the rotation of the electric motor to the trunnion shaft at a reduced speed, but is brought into a locked state upon receipt of a reverse load from the trunnion shaft. This enables light adjustment of the tilting angle of the motor swash plate by use of a small-sized electric motor and reliable holding of the motor swash plate in a position at any angle.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 1987Date of Patent: October 24, 1989Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tsutomu Hayashi, Masaie Katoh, Nobuyuki Yakigaya, Kazuhiko Nakamura, Yoshihiro Yoshida, Yoshihiro Nakajima, Mitsuru Saito, Akio Kobayashi

Patent number: 4571069Abstract: A recording apparatus has a printer mechanism for printing images successively on sheets of copying paper, and an image control circuit for delivering image information controllably to the printer mechanism so as to enable the latter to print the images successively. The image control circuit includes a plurality of page memories each for storing image information per single page, a first changeover switch for writing image information selectively into the page memories, and a second changeover switch for reading image information selectively from the page memories. When a sheet of copying paper is jammed in the printer mechanism, a microcomputer system controls the second changeover switch to select a switching mode to read an item of image information out of one of the page memories which stores the item of information to be printed on the jammed sheet of copying paper, for thereby allowing the image to be printed in a shorter period of time after paper jam clearance.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 1985Date of Patent: February 18, 1986Assignee: Mita Industrial Company LimitedInventors: Shigeki Kimura, Yoshihisa Ikuta, Yoshihiro Nakajima
