  • Patent number: 9089264
Abstract: A medical coil is provided which is formed by winding an element wire, and includes a convex part provided on a first end of a width direction of the element wire, and a concave part provided on a second end of the width direction of the element wire. At least one of the convex part and the concave part has a slant face. When a compressive force is applied in an axial direction of the medical coil, the convex part and the concave part adjacent to each other are configured to approach each other. A segment which connects a top part of the convex part which protrudes the most and a deepest part of the concave part which is deepest forms an angle so as not to be parallel to an axis of the medical coil.

  • Patent number: 8986326
Abstract: Provided is a grasper including an introduction tube that is capable of being inserted into a body cavity; an operational elongate body that is inserted into the introduction tube so as to advance and retract; and a clip that is attached to a distal end portion of the introduction tube and is operated by the relative movement between the operational elongate body and the introduction tube so as to grasp a body tissue, then is indwelled in a body. The clip has a plurality of grasping arms which are operated to be moved by the operational elongate body or the introduction tube, at least in a direction where the grasping arms are closed, so as to grasp the body tissue; and a retracting portion which retracts a portion of the body tissue between the plurality of grasping arms.

  • Patent number: 6386983
Abstract: A constant velocity joint includes an outer joint member having eight axially extending curved guide grooves formed in a spherical inner surface. Likewise, an inner joint member has eight axially extending curved guide grooves formed in a spherical outer surface. Eight ball tracks are defined between the guide grooves of the inner and outer joint members. Each ball track is enlarged in wedge form in a sense of the axial direction. A torque transmitting ball is disposed in each ball track and a cage is provided having a corresponding number of pockets for storing the torque transmitting balls. A bearing is provided having a fixing member, first and second outer races, first and second inner races, and rolling members between the first and second outer races and the first and second inner races. The first and second outer races are provided in the fixing member while the first and second inner races are provided on the outer joint member.

  • Patent number: 6299543
Abstract: The constant velocity joint comprises an outer joint member 1 in which eight linear guide grooves 1b are axially formed on an inner cylindrical surface 1a thereof, an inner joint member 2 in which eight linear guide grooves 2b are axially formed on an outer spherical surface 2a thereof and serrations 2c for connecting a shaft are formed on an inner surface thereof, eight torque transmitting balls 3 disposed in the ball tracks formed by cooperation of the guide grooves 1b of the outer joint member 1 and the guide grooves 2b of the inner joint member 2, and a cage 4 for retaining the torque transmitting balls 3. The spherical center B of the outer spherical surface 4b and the spherical center A of the inner spherical surface 4a of the cage 4 are respectively offset equidistantly to the opposite side in the axial direction with respect to the center 0 of the pocket 4c.

  • Patent number: 6267682
Abstract: A constant velocity joint assembly for a vehicle, having a fixed-type constant velocity joint linked at one end of a shaft portion of a vehicle and a plunging type constant velocity joint linked to the other end of the shaft portion. The fixed type constant velocity joint includes an outer joint member having eight curved guide grooves axially formed in the spherical inner surface and an inner joint member having eight curved guide grooves axially formed in the spherical outer surface. Serrations (or splines) are formed on the inner surface for connection to a shaft portion. Eight torque transmitting balls are disposed in ball tracks defined between the guide grooves of the outer and inner joint members. A cage retains the torque transmitting balls.
