Abstract: There is provided a foldable electronic apparatus in which first and second casings are pivotally mounted by a bearing portion so as to be freely rotatable and these casings are automatically opened until a predetermined opening angle and then further manually opened. In the electronic apparatus of the present invention, the first and second casings (1), (2) are freely rotatably connected to each other (pivotally mounted) through a bearing portion (3). An opening/closing device (4) for automatically opening the first and second casings (1), (2) until a predetermined opening angle by operating a push button (49) is secured to the bearing portion. The opening/closing device (4) includes a mechanism for opening the casings until a larger opening angle exceeding the predetermined opening angle, and the first and second casings (1), (2) can be manually opened till a larger opening angle.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of preventing, curing, and/or treating hypocalcemia of a domestic mammal, especially, a cow. Specifically, the present invention provides a method of administrating a vitamin D derivative to prevent, cure and/or treat hypocalcemia, characterized in that a vitamin D derivative, especially, 1?-hydroxyvitamin D3 and/or 1.25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 is transvaginally administered to a domestic mammal.

Abstract: A portable apparatus including a transparent and flexible protective lid which openably and closably covers a touch pad which also serves as a display screen. The lid has a U-shaped slit portion formed therein and has a protrusion on a surface of the U-shaped slit portion facing the touch panel. When the protective lid is closed, the slit portion may be pushed down to actuate the touch panel. When the protective lid is open, the touch panel may be directly actuated.

Abstract: A watertight casing for electronic apparatus includes a first case, a second case and a cover. Sealing members are interposed between the first case and the second case, and between the second case and the cover, respectively. The first and the second cases and the cover are fastened tightly together. A printed board mounts electronic parts on one side thereof, and an air-zinc battery on the other side. The first case is provided with a recess portion into which the electronic parts on the printed board are received. Another sealing member is interposed between the second case and the other side of the printed board. The second case is provided with a through hole which is closed by the cover. The battery is received in the through hole in a sealed manner. The second case is further provided with a vent hole communicating the through hole with an atmosphere.
