  • Patent number: 9920941
Abstract: An air-conditioning control apparatus controls an air-conditioning unit used in a central air-conditioning system that conditions a plurality of rooms in a house by a single air-conditioning unit. In the apparatus, a microcomputer starts an output of an ON command signal when started, subsequently continues the output of the ON command signal when a detected temperature inside a room is lower than a predetermined determination temperature, and stop the output of the ON command signal when the detected temperature is equal to or higher than the predetermined determination temperature. A protective opening and closing unit closes a first power supply path between a voltage input terminal and an internal alternating-current power supply line when the ON command signal outputted from the microcomputer is supplied, and opens the first power supply path when the supply of the ON command signal is stopped.

  • Patent number: 8928257
Abstract: A lighting control device controls a turn-on state and a turn-off state of a lighting apparatus in a room where an air-conditioning apparatus is provided. In the lighting control device, a temperature sensing section is provided in the air-conditioning apparatus and senses temperature of the room to allow the air-conditioning apparatus to perform air-conditioning control such that the sensed temperature of the room lies within a preset temperature range. A temperature acquisition section acquires the sensed temperature. A determination section determines that a switching condition for switching the lighting apparatus has been met, when the acquired sensed temperature coincides, within a preset tolerance range, with a criterion temperature which is set separately from the preset temperature range on the basis of a body temperature of a person. A switching section switches the lighting apparatus between the turn-on state and the turn-off state, when determined that the switching condition has been met.

  • Patent number: 5430284
Abstract: A bar code reader is provided which is designed to read a bar code carrying information according to a combination of lengths of bars of the code. The bar code reader includes a light source for radiating light onto the bar code, a light gathering system for gathering the light reflected from the bar code to compress the gathered light at a preselected rate in a lengthwise direction of the bars, a photoelectric converter, responsive to the light compressed by the light gathering system, for providing a signal having a level corresponding to a degree of intensity of the compressed light, and a bar code information reading unit, responsive to the signal from the photoelectric converter, for reading the information carried by the bar code. With this arrangement, the bar code may be read in a one-time scanning operation completely regardless of a type of image sensor: one-dimensional or two dimensional sensors.
