  • Patent number: 4005320
Abstract: A disclosure is made of an electric motor assembly in which a motor casing containing a motor and a battery casing housing one or more batteries are coupled in a manner so that a motor energizing circuit is turned on or off by relative rotational displacement between said two casings and the motor is fixed within said motor case by means of a terminal or contact strip. Further disclosed are raised ridges or grooves provided on said battery casing as means of supporting the whole assembly of said electric driving device, a method of immovably fixing said battery casing where said motor casing is made free for rotational displacement, a method of facilitating rotational displacement of said battery casing where said motor casing is immovably fixed, and also a switching mechanism.

  • Patent number: 3985322
Abstract: An electric motor casing is formed with a T-shaped groove. A mounting member comprises a first flange portion to fit in the T-shaped groove of the motor casing and second and third flange portions parallel to the first flange portion for attachment to a model airplane or the like. A beam portion connects the first, second and third flange portions. The second and third flange portions are disposed on the opposite sides respectively of the first flange portion along the longitudinal axis of the mounting member. A wall portion is perpendicular to and connects the first and second flange portions. The end of the beam portion connected to the third flange portion is enlarged to spread the sides of the T-shaped groove during mounting of the motor casing.

  • Patent number: 3947743
Abstract: There is described a charger and related devices, the charger being capable of charging batteries uniformly to a predetermined level by adjusting the residual electric amounts in the respective batteries to a uniform level prior to the charging operation, thereby avoiding overcharging of a particular battery or batteries. The charger ensures that a number of batteries be charged in a uniform electric amount or up to a predetermined level to preclude inverse charging of an undercharged battery or batteries which occurs when a number of differently charged batteries are used in series.
