    Abstract: A conjugated diene polymer is produced by continuously polymerizing a conjugated diene monomer with a catalyst consisting essentially of components (1): a lanthanoid compound, (2): an aluminoxane and (3): a halogenated organometal compound, a halogenated metal compound or a halogenated organic compound in a hydrocarbon solvent containing 5-50% by weight of an aromatic hydrocarbon to obtain a conjugated diene polymer having a ratio (Mw/Mn) of weight average molecular weight (Mw) to number average molecular weight (Mn) of not more than 4.
