    Abstract: An electrode unit configuring a resistance welding device is provided with a first chassis section and a second chassis section. A plurality of stepped hole sections are formed in the first chassis section, and an electrode pin is slidably provided in each stepped hole section. On the head section of the electrode pin, a resin ball configuring a welding pressure adjusting mechanism is disposed. In the second chassis section, a screw hole is formed coaxially with each stepped hole section, and a setscrew configuring an extrusion output adjusting mechanism for adjusting an extrusion output of the electrode pin is screwed into each screw hole.

    Abstract: A manufacturing apparatus for a foil bearing comprises: a tubular positioning member having a substantially cylindrical wall provided with engagement portions each having a shape corresponding to at least part of a wave-shaped portion of associated one of foil members such that positioning of the foil members can be achieved by engaging the wave-shaped portion of each foil member to the associated engagement portion of the positioning member and inserting the positioning member into an inside of the stationary mount member; and a welding device for welding the foil members to the inner circumferential surface of the stationary mount member, wherein the positioning member is formed with openings in the substantially circumferential wall thereof to allow the welding device to access the foil members from inside the positioning member through the openings.

    Abstract: The vibrator includes, for example, a triangular prism shaped vibrating body. On each of three side faces of the vibrating body, piezoelectric elements are formed respectively. The vibrating body makes bending vibration by giving a driving signal to one or two piezoelectric elements. The vibrator is used in a vibratory gyroscope. In this case, for example, one piezoelectric element is used for vibrating the vibrator. When a rotating force is applied to the vibratory gyroscope, a Coriolis force is exerted to produce output voltages on the remaining two piezoelectric elements corresponding to the rotational angular velocity.
