  • Patent number: 7279666
Abstract: A thawing cycle, wherein after reduced-pressure process (G) is carried out to reduced-pressure balanced range (B), pressure restoration process (F) is started, and when the reduced-pressure of pressure restoration process (F) reaches a lower limit (P1) at which vacuum discharge does not occur, irradiation of microwaves is started, and after pressure restoration is carried out to a preset pressure restoration upper limit (D), reduced-pressure process (G?) is carried out once again, and irradiation of microwaves continues until the reduced-pressure reaches a lower limit (P1) at which vacuum discharge does not occur, and sublimation cooling by sublimation is carried out in the reduced-pressure process to reduced-pressure balanced range (B?) after the irradiation of microwaves is terminated, is carried out repeatedly.

  • Patent number: 6334522
Abstract: In a control apparatus for a passenger conveyor, passenger detecting devices provided on balustrades distinguish and monitor the absence/presence of a passenger within first zones on an entrance gate side and an exit gate side including floor boards of the entrance gate side and the exit gate side, and the absence/presence of a passenger within second zones on the entrance gate side and the exit gate side adjacent to and beyond the first zones, covering the first zones. When a passenger is detected in the second zone on the entrance gate side in a standby mode, a mode switching circuit switches the operating mode to an intermediate mode, and when a passenger is detected in the first zone on the entrance gate side in the intermediate mode, the mode switching circuit switches the operating mode to a conveying mode.

In the case where a passenger is detected in the second zone on the entrance gate side in a standby mode, a mode switching circuit switches the operating mode to an intermediate mode, and in the case where a passenger is detected in the first zone on the entrance gate side in the intermediate mode, the mode switching circuit switches the operating mode to a conveying mode.

  • Patent number: 4600086
Abstract: An elevator hoist apparatus of the type disposed in the bottom of a hoistway has an improved structure for securing the apparatus to the wall of the hoistway. The apparatus also comprises an improved hoist drum having multiple parallel rope grooves formed in the drum so as to spiral around the drum in the same direction from one end of the other to the other. The load acting on the main ropes wrapped around these grooves is thereby equalized, increasing the safety of the apparatus. Furthermore, the ends of the main ropes are secured to the drum so that the main ropes are reliably secured even when there is no tensile force acting on the main ropes.
