  • Patent number: 9849046
Abstract: An occupant transfer apparatus includes: guide rails arranged substantially along an up-down direction between a seat and a door; a slide unit raisable and lowerable along the guide rails; and a transfer board foldably supported by the slide unit. A long elastic member connects a floor panel and the slide unit, and elastic force of the elastic member biases the slide unit upward. By balancing the elastic force of the elastic member with the weight of an assisted person, the assisted person sitting on the transfer board can be raised and lowered with very small force. Moreover, because there is no need for a special drive source, the structure can be realized at low cost, and also be made compact. This prevents the structure from narrowing a vehicle-compartment space and obstructing an able-bodied person getting in and out of a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8083285
Abstract: Because a vehicle lower portion 6 and a bracket 3 have an equal level of thermal expansion or thermal contraction, a bonded surface of the bracket 3 can be prevented from losing the bond with the vehicle lower portion 6 due to any deformation difference that might be caused if they have different thermal expansion coefficients. A side under spoiler 4 can be kept supported on the bracket 3 even if the side under spoiler 4 thermally expands or thermally contracts, and hence the side under spoiler 4 made of a different material from that of a vehicle body 2 can be more securely mounted on the vehicle body 2. The bracket 3 and the side under spoiler 4 after mounted can maintain their ability to be joined to the vehicle body 2 for a long term.

  • Patent number: 7077028
Abstract: A pedal retraction amount control apparatus is provided in which a tread portion of a pedal can be reliably moved in a forward direction of a vehicle body, when the running vehicle collide in various forms. The pedal retraction amount control apparatus comprises a pushing member 24 which can protrude into a passenger compartment 12 from a forward side of the vehicle, and a control bracket 45 arranged between the pushing member 24 and a pedal 17, which rocks by being pushed by the pushing member 24 moving to rearward of the vehicle so as to press an upper part of the pedal 17 above a pivot 38 in the rearward direction of the vehicle, and the tread portion of the pedal is moved to the forward of the vehicle.
